My partner and I truly made a family here at Barefoot. Aside from the service being phenomenal and prompt on everything we needed during our stay, Roger and Omar made it memorable with their welcoming and warm personalities. They truly made us feel like we were at home during the occasional rainy days with Roger’s delicious mojitos and Omar’s hilarious banter. They were also giving us the best recommendations for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and anywhere else for a great time! Leaving Barefoot Hotel in Caye Caulker felt like leaving your first college dorm and saying good bye to all the friends you made in the common lounge. It was a bittersweet moment, but we made amazing friendships and memories here that will stay with us forever :’)

We stayed for 6 nights at Barefoot. There was only a double room available and we had a lot of gear, but it worked out great. The room has some things that really stood out: a table on both sides of the bed (it makes a difference to me), USB plugs on either side of the bed, very nice bath & showers, storage, a TV to watch the usual streaming channels , & of course air conditioning. Another big plus is that they provide a big container of potable water in the room instead of individual plastic bottles! The hotel has a lovely rooftop space with plenty of seating and shade available. There is also a small bar that makes really good drinks and some bikes you can borrow, which was awesome. The staff was great and the manager Yvan was really helpful.

I got the chance to stay here for New Year's Eve and honestly I have no complaints. Ivan and the rest of the staff were extremely warm, friendly, and accommodating. As a local, I appreciate when the level of customer service and the welcoming atmosphere remains the same regardless of whether a guest is an international traveler or not. Centrally located and pretty affordable. Definitely my go-to stay in Caye Caulker.

This place is great! We stayed here for 3 nights and it was in the middle of everything but still quiet! Eden and Omar were great were there to help and answer all of the questions we had! We would love to stay here again!

Excellent hotel. Highly recommend, the staff were super friendly. The hotel its self is clean and beautiful. Look the outdoor bar, the drinks were awesome. Looking forward for my next stay. The Manager Yvan was super good to us unlike other places I have stayed with.

My girls and I stayed at Barefoot over the weekend for my birthday, and the staff went out of there way to make sure we had a good time! We were greeted with pure good vibes, smiles, and margaritas 😄 Highly recommend to stay at Barefoot when visiting Caye Caulker, our room was comfy and clean, and the customer service was exceptional!

My husband and I had an amazing time at Barefoot Caye Caulker Hotel celebrating our anniversary. Beautiful pool to swim in and relax with exceptional service. Our room had a beautiful view of the caribbean sea and in the heart of town which was very convenient. They have complimentary bicycles to explore the island, which was very romantic and adventurous. The staff were very friendly and accommodating with anything we needed, from things to do to amazing mojitos. We highly recommend this hotel and are very thankful to spend our special anniversary there.

We stayed at this hotel with 11 women. The maintenance man Omar, was extremely rude and made our stay unpleasant. He was consistently harassing us and made us feel unwelcome. This unfortunately clouded any good things the hotel offered and overshadowed the rest of the staff. He also entered our room without knocking. This made us feel unsafe.
