Sea Dreams Hotel is a family-run boutique hotel on the quaint island of Caye Caulker. We are located at the north end of the village- next to the The Split/Lazy Lizard Bar & Grill- which affords a three-sided view of the Caribbean Sea. Our dock, located on the leeward edge of The Split, is the entry into a unique slice of paradise: perfectly clear and calm, chest-deep, turquoise water with a white sandy bottom. Every evening, guests watch the sun melt into these waters and cast pastel shades across the skies. When guests are not diving, snorkeling, fishing, or touring Mayan ruins, they relax at the hotel with a tropical drink at our rooftop bar, a book in a hammock, or a canoe/paddle board ride to feed the local Tarpon. Accommodations range from intimate courtyard rooms to one-, and two-bedroom apartments, cabana, and home. Amenities include free bicycles, canoe, paddle boards, hot breakfast, WIFI, AC, TV, and bottled water.

We spent four nights at this very pleasant family owned hotel. A delicious breakfast was included in the modest price. It is located at the Split end of the island. The hotel had a private dock for viewing the sunset, and the beach next to the dock was shallow, and very pleasant. If I were to return to Caye Caulker, I certainly would stay here again. Laundry service was prompt and cheap. Front desk arranged golf cart taxis from the water taxi, and back to that dock for our departure. And Maya, the hotel dog, is so sweet!

Located on a side street adjacent to the Split, the view from the Orchid Cabana was so lovely! The staff, especially Stephanie, was so helpful. The room was island rustic, with tropical wood throughout, comfy bed, nice little kitchenette, very cozy and clean. Stephanie arranged for a $5 golf cart taxi ride to and from and even helped us book a commuter flight to Caye Caulker from Belize City. Daily maid service, or not, your choice. Though it was a little over our $150 a night budget for a small boutique hotel, we went for it to avoid being on the main street, and for the extras they add in. We were so glad we did! Extras include free breakfast, cooked each day on the rooftop where you have a view of the ocean on both sides of the island. Delicious and different meals each day. They also have a happy hour on the rooftop, complete with appetizers. Free bikes were available for our use anytime to explore the town, as were kayaks and beach towels. The fridge was stocked with Belizean Beer and sodas (for a nominal fee). We thought we would cook in a bit, but between free breakfasts and great nearby restaurants, we didn't. It was nice to have a place to keep and heat leftovers from our restaurant meals though. Right around the corner was a laundry service, and also the best massage place ever. Not to mention beach side lobster bbq's and snorkeling tour guides galore. We truly enjoyed our stay and wish we would have stayed longer! Caye Caulker was SO much nicer and relaxing than Ambergris Caye, which was a crowded, noisy tourist trap. If we do Belize again, we'll skip that noise and just go to Caye Caulker and San Ignacio. Thank you everyone at the Sea Dreams for a memorable, lovely stay!

We stayed 2 weeks at this wonderful little hotel in Caye Caulker, Belize. Breakfast was hearty and varied. We stayed in a courtyard hotel room which small but comfortable. There were hammocks and lounge chairs on the rooftop patio where we could read or just enjoy the tropical weather. The office staff arranged our transportation to and from the hotel as well as a snorkelling adventure, sunset cruise, zip lining and Mayan ruin tours. Cocktails at the roof top bar were always a treat!

Absolutely amazing customer service. The owner and staff are very helpful and provided us with some great tips for DIY fishing at Caye Caulker. The hotel has a pier that you can fish from and had plenty of Bone fish around to catch. Thanks for a great couple of days. Will definitely be back if I am in the area again.

My family and I stayed here in late July 2022. My kids (14, 13, 10), husband and I loved the location of this hotel. We were very close to walking to the Split area for swimming or the other side of the island too. We also enjoyed using the hotel's free bikes to explore the island. It was also easy to walk to many restaurants and grocery stores as well. The breakfast food was delicious and was a huge plate of food. The view of the ocean from the top of the hotel was nice BUT BRING BUG SPRAY if mosquitos like you. We didn't have any issues with bugs in our room. Just by the bikes or on the top of the hotel where we ate breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had. They kindly arranged transport to/from the hotel and the local tax golf cart drivers were also very prompt and courteous. My kids liked using the free paddle board and canoe too. The beach area by the hotel's dock is shallow and warm and clear enough to see little fish. We had an amazing vacation here!!!! No complaints.

Awesome experience! Sea Dreams has excellent and friendly staff ready cater to whatever you need on the mainland or Caye Caye Caulker. The location is also prime in Caye Caulker, it’s a 5 minute walk to the Split and a number of restaurants and bars. The rooms are nice and cozy, and feel really homey. And I can’t finish off this review without mentioning the included wonderful breakfast which makes Sea Dreams a top notch spot in Caye Caulker.

Room was clean and very spacious. Breakfast every morning (included) was excellent and cooked to order. Staff could not have been accommodating. Happy hour in the upstairs bar every evening was awesome. Fishing with Eloy was awesome and he made sure to put us on fish for 4 days! Missed more than I landed which was a great problem to have! Will definitely be back.

I can’t thank the entire staff for all their hospitality and making us feel at home. Our room was clean and comfy and quiet. Hotel is in the best location of the island in my opinion. It’s right next to the split which makes it for easy access to crystal clear water for swimming. Hotel offers free bikes to roam around the island and free daily breakfast was also amazing. We can’t wait to return.

This was our second time staying at Sea Dreams and it was even better than our first. The staff here are wonderful. Elisia is always smiling and going above and behind to make you feel welcomed. The ladies cooking and serving breakfast in the morning are always pleasant and we look forward to seeing them. The private dock is great for lounging all day in the water. The rooms are cute and have everything you need. The location can’t be beat, right at the Split. We truly miss this place when we leave and look forward to returning for a third time.
