Crystal, Felicia, Sarah and Gabriel couldn’t of been better employees, love them all. Location was fantastic. Their rooms were good, clean, comfortable bed, Refrigerator, coffee maker, and a good shower, but the air conditioning was awesome. I WOULD RECOMMEND

We had money stolen out of our room while staying here. Just be aware if you choose this hotel. There are not safes in the room. Overall room was clean and good location. We had nice time in Caye Caulker other than theft.

great staff and okay accommodations. small room and balcony, but really who wants to spend time at the hotel when you can do so much on the island of caye caulker. We rented bikes, made use of the free kayak supplied by the hotel and had the best 2 days you could ask for on the island.

Jan's Hotel is centrally located on Caye Caulker, within walking distance to everything and close to a GREAT restaurants. The hotel is quiet because the rooms are not directly overlooking the street like some hotels in the area, but literally steps from the white sand beach. Their roof top patio has views of both sides of the island and their beach was clean, lots of lounge chairs, palms and a dock to walk out and view waves/sea life. Shower had great water pressure; AC worked well, and we appreciated that they loaned us beach towels for our snorkel trip. Staff were courteous, picked us up at dock, took us to airport. Excellent stay.

I am so pleased with my choice to stay at Jan’s place. It is small, cute and clean and affordable. It provides everything you need which isnt much when you are visiting Caye caulker. It it literally located in the mix of it all. Just a 5 min walk and you are at the split where all the action happens. Right across the street is the best street lobster vendor on the Island. Bike rentals are only a block away and a few steps away is a private quiet space for Jans guest to relax and take in the beautiful view. Oh and the rooftop is perfect for a morning cup or coffee or evening cocktail. If I come back to Caye caulker I will definitely be staying at Jan’s place.

Great people! The suite included a kitchenette, but little to cook with, but that was no problem as every other business on the island is a restaurant. One thing: the pictures make the hotel appear to front on the beach, but Front St, the busiest street on the island, passes between the beach and the hotel. Great people watching from our balcony, but you can't hear the (minimal) wave sounds.

We found Jan's to be one of the better mid range options on CC. Good location and friendly staff. Also has a nice rooftop terrace. We found it be a relatively quiet location and the golf cart pickup at the ferry terminal was a nice bonus (however you do have to call ahead).

I found the hotel to have highs and lows. Location is great, not far from the split. Shower water pressure is awesome and a difference maker. On the flip side, bathroom is stinky due to poor plumbing (which I believe is the case in the entire island so probably not their fault), Wifi is bad and the fact that the front desk is only open till 5PM can cause real issue if you for example lose your key. The place has no pool and almost none of the rooms have an ocean view due to the build of the property.
