We spent a week in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage. There was a main room that was a combination full kitchen and living room. However, there is no microwave so we had to heat food we brought back in the oven. We had daily housekeeping which was okay but hit and miss. Two days we had to call for hand towels and face cloths. They only left bath towels. Another day we had to call for soap and lotion because none were left. The resort is very nice with gravel roads between the cottages. The main transportation on the resort are golf carts. We rented from the resort for our stay. We also used the golf cart to go into the town. The TV and WiFi is sporadic with on and off service. The bedrooms and main room have individual air conditioners. From Tuesday through Saturday the air conditioner in the main room would only put out warm air in the mornings. Maintenance would respond and put freon in the compressor and we would have cold air for the rest of the day. Tried to tell them there must be a leak in the system but they did not respond. The resort itself is beautiful and the restaurant and bar are great. We had breakfast on the veranda several mornings and the food was great. There is a part of the restaurant that is air conditioned. The service was wonderful and friendly. In the afternoons starting at 3:00 they offer two for one tropical drinks on the veranda. The catch is they must be the same. We enjoyed this every day. Diamond members are treated to a meet and greet from 6 pm to 7pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Free alcohol and snacks are provided. There is a free 15 minute boat ride to the private beach of the resort. There is a snack bar at the beach. We enjoyed our stay and were very impressed with the friendly staff. From the front desk to the servers all were always ready to assist and answer any questions we had. Special recognition to Concierge Sethanie, Servers Miguel and Ernesta, and Irene at the Front Desk for their outstanding service. They went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of.…

My stay at Mahogany Bay Resort was nothing short of wonderful. The resort feels like a community with all the amenities at your fingertips. The staff was friendly (Rachel, Jason, and Jake) and welcoming and the food was great! Definitely recommend and will stay again.

We had a great time staying at MB. The pool is absolutely fantastic and the Great House has a nice restaurant and bar. Nearby there is also small sub sandwhich or hot dog place for quick bites. The on site Japanese restaurant was very good as well. Our room was very nice with great A/C that was a must. The beach club was ok but you can just run 1.5 miles back north on the golf cart and hit any beach you could want. We actually liked the distance from downtown SP as it was much quieter there.

Our family of 10 had an incredible time at Mahogany Bay in Belize. The cozy, well-decorated bungalows for the couples and the spacious house for the rest of the group were perfect. Special praise goes to Winfield, Jason, Dennis, and Brittany for their outstanding service. The resort's picturesque location, delicious dining options, and attentive staff created an atmosphere of relaxation and luxury. Mahogany Bay exceeded our expectations and is highly recommended for a memorable getaway in Belize.

My wife and I stayed for five days and had a wonderful time. The room/cottage was very nice and all the food we had at MB was fantastic (as was the food at every restaurant we went to in San Pedro). The staff was universally exceptional. In particular, Jason D. in the bar/pool was great and treated us very well.

Our stay at Mahogany Bay resort was made fantastic by the dedicated and friendly staff who work there. Every morning, Danielle, Wendy, Miguel, and Claudia remembered our names and orders, and always brought cheerful energy and delicious food to our table. The cocktail bar was excellent due to the wonderful Mojito’s made. byOscar and Antonio. The beach club was an easy boat ride away. Winfred always made sure to show us the resting crocodiles on our boat ride over. Finally, TRex and Ever made our snorkel trip super fun with their humor. They showed all the wonderful fish, sharks and wildlife at Hol Chan. The accommodations were clean and beds comfortable Thank you for our stay.

Our cottage was absolutely amazing. Clean and close to everything. We lucked out and went early to the beach to get a hammock and we’ll worth getting up early!!! Get a golf cart if planning on going in town ~ Eat at the Veranda and ask for Daniele she’s absolutely amazing. Had a great time!!! The water is amazing and so blue.

The wait staff was excellent! I am from Charleston, SC where tourism is huge for our economy, so I constantly look at service when I travel. I was impressed by the skills of the staff because they were so young. Jason was extremely impressive. He listened to my requests and moved quietly and adeptly, handling everything that I needed for myself and for my party. His skills were so exemplary that I called his manager Yessena to praise her for training him. If Yessena is the manager/trainer for all of these servers, then you should really acknowledge her because her young staff nailed it. If there was something that Jason could not do, he did not say no, he said that he would check with management first. Pearl and Jason served us at our private welcome dinner. Pearl is an excellent hostess. She was able to engage with us and handle our service along with Jason. Ian filled in for Jason when he was handling another table during our pool side visit and he was friendly and engaging. Justin was an excellent server as well. Joshua was terrific at the hotel bar. He gave me great tips on the clubs and explained how the hotel front desk staff could help me get a cab to go into town for the evening. Miguel, did a great job of acknowledging me and my party when we came to the tables outside by the pool and told us to sit where we would like and a server would be with us shortly. So many servers would just let us wander around. He also did a wonderful job taking care of me and my friend during our brunches where we discovered we could get delicious omelets which were not listed on the menu. Dewayne was the ultimate server at the Beach Club. He kept our drinks flowing and entertained us while we were on the beach beds. He was even encouraging when a person in my party was having a hard time climbing the beach bed. He was excellent!! Ernestina took care of us at the hotel bar and bantered with a few of us and did a great job. The hotel lobby front desk staff is extremely professional and kind. Jason (#2), Zenier and Irene helped me go through my billing the night before checkout so that I wouldn't have any surprises and everything went so smoothly. They were patient when they pulled my bill and went through my charges. Dennis is great with cart transportation and has a lot of knowledge.
