This was my first experience at an Element hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to book again if I have the chance. Our 2 queen, studio suite was perfect for our long, holiday weekend Disneyland trip.
The hotel has a convenient location about a 10 minute walk to the Disneyland entrance and is literally off I-5. There are tons of dining and shopping options within walking distance and a ART stop directly in front of the hotel. The location is amazing!
I really liked the large area adjoining the lobby with tons of seating and work space options. The breakfast dining area is equally spacious and one of the largest I’ve seen with both indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast served healthier options than what you would typically expect from a complementary breakfast, including scrambled egg whites, turkey bacon or sausage, root vegetables, oatmeal and crepes.
Our room on the 4th floor was very comfortable, was fully equipped and being less than two months old, still had a brand new, fresh smell. It was pretty neat having a park view and being able to see parts of the parks and the nightly fireworks directly from our window. The only issues we had which was partially masked by my fan, was the bottom door draft seal must be installed wrong or is faulty as it creates a horrible whistling sound when the door is shut. It’s quite loud and is audible from over a full room or two distance away in the hallway and is the only reason for 4 stars and not 5.

We stayed at the Element Anaheim for our visit to Disneyland. After much research, we decided to book with Element based on positive reviews and location.
The staff was welcoming and helpful, the room was spacious, nice and clean. We are used to just hotel rooms, so to have a sofa and extra space was very exciting to have! It was great to have the sofa to relax and unwind at the end of a park day.
There is a small kitchenette, which we didn't use, but it would come in so handy for families wanting to cook a few meals. (We didn't, because we had a list of places we needed to try while we were at Disney.) The hotel offers free breakfast each morning and it consists of standard fare of yogurt, cereals bagels, breads, and hot entrees like eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes (the meat and pancake options change up). It's a bit of a madhouse, as expected when food is a free for all, but manageable. My family slept in over heading down a few mornings, so I grabbed a few items like cereal and milk for them to enjoy while we got ready for the day. I am an early bird so I liked using the gym, getting ready for the day and heading to have some breakfast and morning coffee!
Parking was plentiful for our rental car; once we parked it, we didn't really need it other to run out and get some water, and it was easy to find parking spots.
The hotel is close to the freeway, so I was concerned over the noise, but our room did not encounter any noise from the freeway. We also had a great view of the park fireworks, which was great!
The hotel is walking distance to Disneyland, but it is a 15-18 minute walk depending on how you get the traffic lights. It's definitely not a bad walk, but it can be a little tough when you are tired at the end of the day. However, we were always fine to walk. We didn't use Uber, which we had planned if we were THAT tired. The walk back to the hotel always seemed to be quicker than leaving.
There are PLENTY of hotel options, many that are across the street from DL, but I would sacrifice the proximity for a newer, roomier space, which is what the Element is.
We didn't use housekeeping services, but did ask for fresh towels, which they would bring to the room promptly.
The hotel has a pool but it is small and it seemed to be shaded much of the day and when we were there, didn't see many people using it.
Initially we booked directly through the hotel, but changed up when Costco and Disney had a deal. Either way, the hotel is a good choice in value and stay.

I am not sure what these other folks want for a moderately-priced, brand new hotel with free breakfast, but it met my expectations.
Checked in early with zero problems. Asked for a room not facing the freeway, and stayed on the 2nd floor. Room was clean, spacious, and we watched the Disneyland fireworks from our window one night. We asked for a room refresh each day around 8 am (new towels, trash taken out, bed made) and every night we came home to a refreshed room.
The breakfast is standard free breakfast fare. Bagels, eggs, fruit, juice, turkey bacon/sausage. I have seen much, much worse, Staff kept the area clean.
Parking is $22 a night. That is a bit high considering it looks like just about anyone could come in and park for free. Hard to tell if anyone is actually monitoring who has paid and who has not.
Staff was very helpful and happy.
The walk to Disneyland is a bit far, especially if you are used to staying at the closest motels near Harbor. However, as we walked past those old motels each night we talked about how nice it was to come back to our new, large room. If you have small children not in strollers though, plan accordingly. It a solid 12-18 minute walk once you leave Disneyland. I had no idea the ART stopped at the hotel (or nearby?) as referenced in other reviews. I do wish the hotel had mentioned that.
All in all, this was a great hotel for the price.

Hotel built in 2019, delayed opening to 2022 on a limited piece of land next to I5 and Disney Way. Five floors, self parking lobby level outside and underground in garage.
L shape building has even rooms face directly to freeway, low and high odd rooms are adjacent to freeway (can see and hear), mid odd rooms 23-35 face Disney from a distance.
Spacious lobby had two computers, two grills and swimming pool outside but no hot tub. Breakfast had sufficient choices.
Front desk was a mixed bag. Superficial nice but they will not let you check in early. The front desk manager denied a Titanium Elite an upgrade to a elderly man and would not work with him to find another room. She said “no” like she was scolding a child and said they do not give upgrades ever as customers always look for freebies.
She made up BS excuses about housekeeping and availability. Housekeeping would stillhave to clean the same number of rooms and other room types were available for sell. So, the room would be available if booked but not for upgrade. Is that what you call a liar?
Upgrades for platinum elites and higher have been earned and are to be given out if available. The front desk manager needs to read the terms and conditions for the Bonvoy program or go to Marriott for training. She refused to upgrade the man, would not change a room type and offered zero assistance to find another room.
Terms and conditions...Platinum Elite Members and above receive a complimentary upgrade to the best available room, subject to availability on the day of arrival, for the entire length of stay. Complimentary upgrade includes suites, rooms with desirable views, rooms on high floors, corner rooms, rooms with special amenities or rooms on Executive Floors.
The front desk said the welcome gift was 500 points. Wrong. It is 500 points or an amenity -customers choice. Failing to ask the guest results in $25 compensation.
Rooms were nice as in new but not luxurious by any means. It’s as though your in a boxed off part of a warehouse.

We stayed at this hotel based on some friend’s recommendation. We have 5 children and it is difficult to find a place that fits us! It is within walking distance of Disneyland and has a nice layout for 7 people and had a decent complimentary breakfast. However, my biggest complaint is their refusal to clean the room! We stayed here 5 days, 4 nights, and each day asked specifically for our room to be cleaned. Not once was the room vacuumed, the bed sheets were never changed, there were water spots all over the bathroom, and the beds looked like they were made by my 5 year old (crooked sheets, haphazardly pulled over pillows, etc). I have never stayed in a hotel with such atrocious cleaning services! We brought it to the front desk’s attention several times and they just said they were “short staffed.” I’m sorry, if I’m paying full price for a hotel, I expect full service! So disappointed and will probably never stay here again. (Also one other thing- the pool is tiny and freezing!)

We stayed at this property for 6 nights in late March for spring break. It is a newer property and very clean and the furnishings are updated. Knowing it is literally right next to the freeway I had requested a room as far away as possible. We ended up in room 531 and I am pleased to say we could barely hear any noise and I am a light sleeper. This room also provided us with a fabulous view of the fireworks at the park each night.
We had a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. The queen beds were super comfy and the sofa bed was comfy enough for my 16 year old son to sleep on it all 6 nights. We also enjoyed having the partial kitchen even though we didn't really cook anything. While in the Lyft from LAX I did think ahead to order some snacks and beverages like a case of water from Von's and it was delivered to the hotel within 45 min of our arrival. Just keep in mind there is no oven - just a stove top and microwave and the fridge is like 3 cubic feet so a larger hotel size fridge.
The hotel provides a free buffet breakfast that has lots of selections and the space to eat is large but normally packed. The pool is super small and there is no hot tub. They also charge like $30 a night to park.
We walked to the park the first day and it took us just over 10 minutes. It is a bit of a jaunt when you are tired though so we did end up getting the ART bus passes. You have to download the "A-Way WeGo" app to purchase the tickets and then download the "Token Transit" app to see the schedules. The route you want is the "Clementine" line. We learned that they only come on a regular basis (like every 20 min) until 10:30 am and then again after like 6:30 pm. If you want to get that bus you wait at stand #7. If you want a ride between 10:30 am and 6:30 pm you have to request one using the "on demand" feature and then wait at stand #14. Kind of confusing. From the park there are 3 stops before you get to the Element so maybe 15 min but only one stop after you get picked up before you get to the park.
Overall this is a great new option for an "inexpensive" stay close to Disneyland and we would definitely stay here again!

We checked in Sunday 11/21. The breakfast is lest to be desired; the menu never changed so we ended up ordering food via DoorDash. And for two straight nights, the room directly above us had people stomping around late at night. When you are walking all day at the park with kids, you want some peace and quiet time when you get back to your room. Called the front desk but nothing was done so very disappointed. We are all paying customers and they should enforce something to keep the noise down at night. I will probably stay elsewhere when we head back to Anaheim.

This was our first time staying at an Element Resort. We stayed for 5 nights in a Theme Park View, 1 bedroom Suite. The room itself was very spacious and was more than enough for our family's needs. We were able to view the Disney fireworks from our window. We really wanted to like this hotel. But, the service was not up to par compared to other Westin properties I have stayed at. Housekeeping service was lacking. We requested for our room to be cleaned each night beginning on day 2. We even personally requested housekeeping service at the front desk after returning from a long day and found that our room was not cleaned. Our room was never cleaned at the end of our stay despite multiple requests. We were shocked to find clean towels left outside the room in the hallway as well. We also had problems with parking if you returned back to the hotel late. No parking spaces were available despite the $22/day parking fee and found that other guests were either parking in undesignated spaces or parked at a red curb or zone. We spoke with the front desk and were informed that they have a contract with Anaheim Garden Walk and that we were allowed to park our vehicle there. Garden Walk is a 5 min or more walk back to the hotel which we found very inconvenient if arriving late with cranky and tired children. The stay included complimentary breakfast. The food is ok but were highly disappointed when we witnessed an employee scooping fallen food on the counter and in between crevices and putting it back in the serving bowls. We were flabbergasted when the employee stated that the food was still clean after we confronted and questioned the employee. Out of concern for future guests, we spoke with the operational manager. We voiced our concerns regarding the lack of service and the need for employee training. We also stressed the importance of the safety of guests if ever there was a fire or an emergency and emergency vehicles are unable to get through because of other vehicles parked in red zones. He acknowledged our concerns which we appreciated. The hotel is still new. We still hope to return on a future visit once they sort out their kinks and hopefully, our experience will be a much better one.

Being a group of 11 with 3 rooms I reached out to the hotel in advance to see if we could get our rooms connected or at least close to one another. I spoke to Keanu and he reassured me they would do their best. Upon arrival Sergio and Keanu were very accommodating from the time we stepped in to the moment we left making our stay very enjoyable.
The hotel being being very new of course was well kept up and clean. I was very impressed with the spacious breakfast area. Having hot water and coffee out at all times was a huge plus for those late visits to Disneyland.
The only downside to the hotel is the location being right next to the freeway. When you are out by the pool it’s very loud which is unfortunate since it’s a nice sitting area. The other downside is there was no spa. After a day at Disney it would be nice to relax in the spa. It is a quick 10 minute walk to Disney. Overall I would stay here again.

There were candy wraps, socks and other whatnots ends and odds under the bunk bed.
On second day, well before cut off time we requested a full cleaning service. We left the hotel at 9AM and when we were back at 7PM it was not clean in fact no one ever showed up. We contacted the front desk hey said they were sending somebody no later than 8PM. Well we have twin toddlers (2 year old) by 8:45PM we had to put the do not disturb sign. Next day they said the room was not serviced because it had Do not disturb sign on it all day - it did not.
They said they would put us for “VIP Cleaning” for next morning. We leave the hotel by 9AM again and then came back for a quick nap at 3 PM. Still nothing had been cleaned. Tried to get extra towels was pulling teeth.
We left at 4PM and told front desk we really needed that service because one of the kids had a small cut in his knees and there was a bit of blood on the sheets.
We came back at 9PM. This time the master bed was made but that was it but they did not change the sheets (tiny blood stains from kid knees). The bunk beds were still a mess they. They left a pile of clean sheets by the sink now filled with dirty dishes.
We were so exhausted that we just went to bed.
Next morning same thing. We tell them we needed cleaning service. They were defensive saying a full detailed service was done (nope candy wrappers from previous stay still there.
We left for a beach day and when back late at night, guess what?! No service. At this point we gave up because we were checking out next morning.
So service is bed, staff is rude. Location is good. Room is mediocre. And cleaning service is just a lie they tell you when you check in.
