From the moment we arrived, the staff manager who greeted us was helpful, friendly and got us quickly to our room. The room was large, clean and quiet - a surprise given its location close to the Capitol area. Breakfast was what you expect it to be - we only wish we were young enough to have enjoyed to waffles and syrupy toppings.

My wife and I stayed here in July of 2020 during the pandemic. We ultimately wanted to get away for a few days. The hotel did a great job following all of the pandemic guidelines and our interaction with others was minimal. Unfortunately, the pool was closed which was probably for the best. Instead of the regular breakfast, they handed out “breakfast bags” which was a nice alternative. The parking was $25 a day and it was self-parking. I assume the valet is not being used currently due to the pandemic. With valet parking, it would’ve been $45 a night.

The only complaint I have is the toilet paper was really bad. Obviously, this seems to be the norm for most hotels out there. If you’re traveling during the pandemic, this is a great place to stay. The hotel is green certified and you can really tell. We enjoyed our stay greatly. From the west side of the building, the view isn’t much but we did get to see the Capitol Building from our room (along with a ton of other construction).

The room is itself is excellent. Very clean and has a lot of appliances. The breakfast was good. I did not like that I was forced to valet my car and it cost almost $50 extra, which was not explained during booking. So if you don't mind paying $50 just to park your car at an almost $200/night hotel, go for it.

Checked in and being that this is a room with a kitchen you expect to have forks, spoons and dish washing liquid. I first ask for soap from housekeeping took over 20 mins. Then i ask for forks, spoons and dish liquid waiting 15 mins and called back and was told the front desk never relayed the message. Then continue to wait mind you I had food I was cooking and already had to use a knife cause that all I had. I will not get into the attitude I received when I was just trying to explain what was missing from room. Won’t stay her again

Thank you for your feedback of your recent stay with us. I was very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the items that were missing from your suite. It is our goal to exceed the expectations of our guests. I am working with our housekeeping staff to prevent this from happening in the future. I hope that if your travels bring you back to the area that you will consider staying with us again.

My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend. Only one of the days we were able to enjoy breakfast because the other days there was no food left by 9am when breakfast is over at 10am. If you requested extra towels, you’d have to come all the way down to the front desk to get it. I also had to call the front desk several times until someone answered to request toilet paper and for housekeeping to come and remove some of the trash in the room that was accumulating. I was told that someone would be up to bring it and take the trash. We left for the day and came back to the room still with no toilet paper and trash still piling up. I think for the price you can find better accommodations somewhere else in the city with better service.

The hotel doesn’t follow the company’s own policy regarding cleaning rooms. Although they say in their website that there is a cleaning “on-request” the fact is that rooms are only cleaned on Mondays and Fridays. Additionally we have to suffer from an smell to weed in the floor and elevators during all our stay. The staff could only apologise for that, but could do nothing even though this is a non smoking hotel.

We flew into Washington and needed to catch an Amtrak train out of Union Station the following morning. We picked Homewood NoMa for its convenience. We made a good choice.

The staff works very hard for you — especially the shuttle service. With the pandemic, our flight was moved up which necessitated an early arrival. No problem, front desk was more than accommodating. Room and property were very clean and comfortable. The front door and elevators are secured so safety was never an issue.

As for a capital view, it’s becoming obscured by booming construction. NoMa is an area in positive transition. Regardless, it’s a pleasant place to stay.

The grab and go breakfast was lacking, but it’s to be expected in a pandemic. Recommendation, have shuttle take you to nearby Harris Teener store and pick up breakfast items along with lunch and dinner. You have a full kitchen, use it!

The employees were awesome! Food was divine and the rooms were gorgeous. My mother, my twin brother and I stayed here while she was on a business trip. The shuttle was very convenient as you can just call it to pick you up and it's a walk from the subway station, and near the union market! You need to stay here if you're ever in D.C

After three days the manager called me concerning accidental charges on my account. I guess it was a computer error. After the manager has contacted me, I can now rate this hotel. The hotel was very spacious. Parking was nice. In this location having access to your car in a huge secure parking lot, not having to call a valet every time you want to access your vehicle was nice as well. The breakfast was very good. We were able to eat breakfast and check out early to get to our destination on time. If it hadn't been for the incorrect charges on my account or someone contacted me sooner and explained the system error to me, I would have rated this hotel Five Stars. Adrienna and Paul, from the front desk were really nice and professional , they really go the extra mile to make guest feel welcome at this hotel.

I must assume that the problems this hotel is having are related to COVID and associated difficulties in hiring staff members Surely this is not what Hilton intended.
First, we arrived by train at Union Station. We chose this hotel on the assumption that it is near Union Station. After all, it is in their name. Fortunately, I spoke to a very helpful young man at the hotel about a week before our planned arrival. He told me that the hotel is not near Union Station and not even very near a Metro station. He suggested that we call the hotel to request a shuttle to the hotel. I did that, but it took four tries to get someone to answer the phone I saw on arrival that the lone front desk clerk was overwhelmed by guests checking in and ringing phones.
I must emphasize that the staff members were mostly friendly and trying to be helpful. A sign indicated that we should request daily housekeeping services.
I made the request at the front desk but was told that it was available only on Fridays and Tuesdays. The clerk offered to hand me towels and washcloths, which I gladly accepted. I later returned for toilet paper and facial tissue when they ran out. There was no facial tissue; we were told to use toilet paper. The room was pretty nice, and the beds were comfortable. This is an extended stay hotel, so it has a small kitchen, which was handy. It had an odd assortment of utensils, such as a single fork. A sign suggested taking the stairs to conserve energy; however, there was not a light in the stairwell. When we told the front desk clerk this, she cooly replied that she knew that and we should take the elevator.. No trash or recycling was collected during our stay. These items were filled to overflowing at the recepticles near the elevator. The breakfast was similar to a Hampton Inn minus the waffles. There was no decaf coffee at breakfast, but our room had only decaf coffee. If you are still reading this, you get the idea, and I will not mention more oddities of this hotel. I hope that all of this will go away with the coronavirus
