When I come to DC to visit my daughter NefOnTheBeat, I love to stay at select hotels. The Sonesta at Dupont Circle is a hidden gem. The manager Bruce, his hospitality is on point. The stay at the Sonesta has been excellent. I would recommend this hidden gem to anyone . I can’t wait to return. The rooms are beautiful nice and clean and roomie.

My fiance (now husband!) and I stayed at the Royal Sonesta in DC for 2 nights for our wedding with our dog. We worked with Allie R. who was amazing at coordinating everything and made sure everything went smoothly. We stayed in a King Executive Studio Suite and were amazed by the large size of the room was and the gorgeous views we had of the city! The hotel room was spacious, exceptionally clean and they even included thoughtful touches for our dog such as a fluffy dog bed and 2 large bowls for food and water. In addition, all of the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful whenever we had any questions or needed anything. The location is also superb - it is located on a very cute street with lots of bars and restaurants and in the heart of Dupont Circle. We can't wait to stay at the Royal Sonesta again!…

I enjoyed my stay from the time I walked in the door to the time I left. The staff was amazing! I was greeted by Kebere as I parked my car. He remembered me for the duration of my stay. As I checked in, I’ve and Tyesha were floret accommodating and hospitable. I felt as if I knew them already. At checkout, Tyeesha and Adeana continued to make sure I enjoyed my stay and made me feel valued. I would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend! 5 Stars!!!!

This was about the 6th time I've stayed at this hotel (first time under this management), and it was by far the best. The staff was amazing--warm, helpful, professional, and ready to problem-solve. I noticed doormen stepping up to help the front desk staff, and vice versa. Special recognition for Isattu ("Ice") at the front desk, who went above and beyond to enhance my stay and help me get to the airport on time. She was awesome. Excellent staff hospitality. Very clean rooms and common areas. Great location--about 3 blocks from Metro, and easy to get a taxi.

We were there this March. The location is central and charming, near good restaurants, embassies and a neighborhood with interesting architecture. The hotel is friendly with pleasant, comfortable rooms. The night we arrived we had yummy (!) pasta in the attached cafe, also good breakfasts all with attentive service. We will stay there the next time we're in DC.

I live locally and come to the hotel's Certo restaurant for their great drinks and service, most specifically Nkechi. She's a real professional: knowledgeable about the bar, wine and food, and personable to a fault. She's what keeps me coming back again and again.

Dined at Certo! in the hotel. The food was great, especially the pizza and cocktails. Our server Nkechi was attentive and friendly, and knew how to answer every one of our questions. Well worth a visit.

First, the bed! First hotel bed that was actually comfortable in years. Slept amazing. Are at certo, our waitress Nkechi was great! Personable, quick , and accommodating. Best service we have had in a long time! Ended up coming back to the restaurant multiple nights.

I'm going to start by saying check in time is 4pm , but I arrive to the hotel at 1pm . Tyeesha the front desk agent gave me a complimentary early check in . She also signed me up for sonesta reward program for the perks . She gave me great recommendations for lunch . Very nice experience and great staff😊😊

Great hotel and excellent location. Extremely close to the metro station and several great restaurants nearby. Also nearby was a CVS & a small supermarket making it easy to grab a few essentials to have in the room. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
