I think the Hyatt Place is a good hotel. I really liked the online check in and check out process. I arrived late at night at the hotel and all I had to do was show my ID and pick up the room key. The breakfast was extremely good with a variety of foods. I liked the fact

The hotel was great! They accommodated me checking in early, I love the extra security measures that only allow guest to use the elevators. The staff was incredible as well, the parking was my only issue its very expensive, not reasonable at all.

Navigate, Thank you for your visit and your follow up 5 star review of our property. We appreciate your acknowledgement of our built in security features to keep all of our guests and associates safe. Our valet parking, while $42, is at par with our neighborhood and the District. Space is at a premium in our city and there are fixed costs associated with that. May I suggest next time, reviewing our options for packages, if available, we have a package that includes valet parking. Thank you Rustin Moore

The staff provided excellent customer service and the hotel was very clean. The only negative was room located above fire department. I would stay at this location again just on the other side of the building away from the fire department.

Passport, Thank you for your visit and your follow up feedback. We would be glad to place your room on the other side of the hotel. While we are above a fire station, the engines do not turn on any audible or visual notifiers until they are 3 blocks away. We hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back soon. Thank you Rustin Moore

Close to national mall but that’s it. Parking is crazy expensive with no recommendations made by my hotel staff for alternative options. The room was clean but connected to a hotel is a fire department which is very loud in the middle of the night.

Culture, Thank you for your feedback. While you're correct that our only parking option is valet parking, we are at par with or even slightly less than other neighboring parking garages. The only other option is street parking, but that must be paid all day as meters are monitored for the majority of the day. Most guests find it most efficient to not even rent a vehicle as we are walking/metro/ride share distance to the many attractions in DC. However, if you must, feel confident that our parking garage is secure and our service is quick. Our Fire Engine Company, 13, is actually the station that responds to the White House, and other special assignments. With their light and traffic control systems, they do not turn on any notification systems whether visual or audible until they are 4 blocks away. I apologize if any city noise disrupted you, but I can only assume they were sounds of the city and not directly related our property. Thank you Rustin Moore
