The Malolo makes the holiday perfect! George and Daves are great hosts and will help with any questions. Check-in was quick and unproblematic. The rooms are large, clean and very well furnished (towels, hair dryer, water, soap, shampoo, wardrobes, desk, bathrobes, power sockets etc.). The breakfast is good and freshly prepared. The hotel is about 5 minutes by car from the metro station, but the hosts drove us to the station and picked us up when we are back at the station. We received numerous tips from George and Daves for our sightseeing tour. The service here is great and deserves special mention! We would book the accommodation again at any time!

Very nice stay. The hosts were awesome and provded a vefy comfortable stay. Very good breakfast and conversation. Amenities were nice and the attention to details was on point. If ever in the area again, would stay.

We had a wonderful time staying with our hosts Jorge and Dave! They were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room we stayed in was nicely decorated and clean. Fresh towels were provided daily and anything else we needed. When we woke up each morning Chef Jorge had hot coffee and even hot chocolate.. A delicious and filling breakfast with eggs made to order was served! We enjoyed our talks during breakfast then Jorge made sure we got down to the nearest subway station and we were off for a full day. We then made our return call for the evening and were picked up and taken back home for a restful evening!

Jorge and david are very friendly and hospitable. They will make u feel welcome and will pick you up from the nearest metro where possible. This is a home away from home. The room is comfy and most importantly if you are a light sleeper. It is in a quiet residential area

Wonderful experience overall. The hosts were fantastic, had delicious breakfast every morning, and assisted us in anything else we may have needed. If ever in the area, that will be the first destination to stay!!!!

Highly recommend staying here! The hosts were so helpful and had great advice about DC. The breakfasts were superb. Our room was spacious, immaculate and well thought out. Spending time at the breakfast table chatting with the hosts was a favorite part of the weekend!

We spent four wonderful days in Washington DC! Malolo Bed & Breakfast was a great place to stay. Chef George & David are the perfect host with lots of suggestions on locations to dine & visit. The beautiful rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Waking up to a delicious breakfast during our stay was one of the highlights. Definitely recommend.

I enjoyed my stay... George and Dave were both so kind. My room was spotless, the location was convenient to the DMV with no more than 20 minutes drive. Breakfast was Amazing!! It is a small homey space that i appreciate as a solo traveler and parking was free and onsite.

Slice of island getaway in DC. Best hack for the sea Farer in all of us. David one of the partners is in-depth to the tons of attractions. From chauffer duties to a tip on it's selection of cultural quinine in DC. George holds it down via in his own right. As both are Veterans it's no surprise the symphony of service complimenting the catered meals by request of each guest and desired meal plan. Vegan, carnivore, Italian put in your request. You will be taken care of. In closing these vets are hospitable, caring most of all just an island getaway ready to serve you. Let th earn your service. Visit as guest, leave as family.

George and David earned a 6.5 star rating for their incredible hospitality, fantastic breakfasts, beautiful room and home, transportation to and from the Metro station, and excellent touring information to maximize our 4 days of touring D.C. On our final nite, George cooked us a 10 course gourmet meal for $75/person. Our stay felt like staying with our life long friends. We will definitely return and highly recommend Malolo to anyone.
