Stayed here three nights with a friend. The beds were very comfortable, the pillows were excellent. The room was quiet, even the heat/ac was very quiet. Excellent shower pressure. Very deep bathtub if you like baths. There was a small refrigerator that work well. We felt safe in the area. I would stay here again.

Chef Jesus and server Endi went above and beyond in providing me with a beautiful and delicious meal, which was quite an accomplishment, given all my food allergies!! Thank you! It made my stay especially enjoyable, despite the construction chaos.

Wonderful property with top notch service. This is my go-to spot whenever I'm in town. If you're in town to see the cherry blossoms there is no better property - within walking distance to cherry blossoms AND the Wharf!

Our family of 4 stayed for 2 nights during Cherry Blossom season and it was the perfect spot for it! Very welcoming spot for families, the kids loved it. Everyone who works there was so friendly and the hotel itself is beautiful and quiet. Walking distance to the Wharf, Monuments/Cherry Blossoms and even museums too. Would highly recommend for couples or families. One quick note - the food options for families with little ones is scarce OUTSIDE of the hotel. The in-room dining and hotel restaurant were a life saver because there are literally no restaurants outside of the Wharf, which didn't have too many kid-friendly options.

Beautiful rooms that reminded me of Europe. Old school charm and elegance. The room was comfortable, with a lovely set of chairs and a table in front of a window overlooking the water. The bathroom was huge. They could have made the bathroom a bit smaller to add more room to the living quarter. Hotel restaurant was just "ok." The food was very good, but the menu was limited.

The stay was fine and the location is great. There is construction going on in the hotel right now, which was a little annoying but I did know that going into it. We had issues at check-in with our reservation but the manager was very nice and fixed our situation fairly quickly. My biggest complaint is the valet company. I have a 3 month old car and the valet literally scratched my wheel and I am having a really hard time getting anyone to accept any responsibility. I received a form today requesting my driver's license and insurance information - which doesn't make sense considering the car wasn't even in my possession when the damage occurred. I don't know that I'd stay here again given this experience. I also don't recommend valeting your car here.

Location was perfect for walking around the Tidal Basin to see the cherry blossoms in full view and see a number of monuments that we had not seen previously. It was 15-20 minutes to walk to the Mall, and 15 minutes to walk to the Wharf area where there were a lot a restaurants. In room dining was delicious with very large servings.

Every staff person was excellent. Above and beyond. The actual hotel was very disappointing for the price. They are renovating but for the price it was, meh. Entrance furniture looked like it was placed haphazardly, restaurant was like a spare room with cheap tables and chairs, no pool, was going to do spa but for the price shown on menu could tell the experience was not be justifiable. Felt sorry for the staff, they were doing the best they could with what they had.

Was rescued from the fire department after being stuck in elevator. Elevator phone did not work. Called front desk...no answer because it was after hours. Called 911. Made pre check in request that was not addressed. Received email the following day regarding my request which was too late to address then.
