My first stay at The Darcy Hotel was EXCELLENT. I got the feeling of some vintage elegance with a twist of modern decor. The service and staff was friendly, courteous and professional. I was always greeted with a "good morning or good afternoon" in the hallway or in the lobby or when entering the hotel. The doormen were so friendly and welcoming. Mohammad, Nakia and Shamar at the reception desk were all awesome! I was greeted at the GSK by Miss Green and Rashid with wonderful and genuine service. Food was delicious! I received a note when I checked from Mia in sales and she came to greet me at breakfast on my first day. The rooms may be smaller than some of the other commercial hotels, however, the beds were super comfortable, great pillows, clean and tidy rooms and the bathroom was beautiful and updated with colorful tiles. Coffee and tea with REAL ceramic hot beverage cups in the room and bottles of water complimentary, along with other glasses! The atmosphere was a wonderful home feeling. I'll certainly be back! We were in town to be with family and participate in the rock n roll half marathon, the staff was so nice, so flexible and rooms were perfect. We had our dog and that could not have worked any better, a great service!!

We ate brunch at the restaurant at the base of the hotel for my sister's bachelorette. I had the Eggs Benedict and shrimp tempura 👍. Nelson was our server; he was incredibly friendly with a good sense of humor, generous, on top of managing our drinks, and honestly made the visit much more enjoyable.

The location was excellent and the room was modern and clean. Staff at the door were very friendly and we had a great check in experience. Housekeeping was a little lackluster (they usually came late in the day, didn’t consistently take dirty towels, one day they didn’t clean the room, etc.). Food at the restaurant was good, but a bit overpriced.

Absolutely amazing! Victor was the epitome of guest service; I came to the Darcy with my best friend for her 40th birthday and it was beyond anything we could have imagined. Premium champagne, a decorated room…Kristin had the best birthday ever. We were so thrilled by everything!

I traveled with a large group for business and every single member of the hotel staff was so incredible with our group. The front desk staff was very helpful and responsive when we had a couple of minor problems with a safe and with a door key. Victor was especially helpful and kind-- he even remembered our names! We were also so happy to work with Mia who helped us access meeting rooms and get everything set up. We were also thrilled that Aziz, one of the doormen, spoke French and was so friendly every time we came and went. It was hands down the best experience I've had in a DC hotel!
