Just 13 minutes from the charm and bustle of Fremantle is one of our most popular holiday parks, Discovery Parks – Woodman Point (formerly Woodman Point Holiday Park). Our comfortable accommodation is ideal after a long day exploring the endless delights of ‘Freo’. Here’s your top five things to do in Fremantle. 1. For a touch of history, tour the Maritime Museum, Fremantle Prison or WA's oldest public building, the Roundhouse. 2. Walk the streets and admire Georgian and Victorian-era architecture. 3. Stroll through the iconic Fremantle markets. 4. Relax with coffee on the famous ‘Cappuccino Strip’. 5. Tuck into fish n’ chips at Fishing Boat Harbour.

Had a good stay in our caravan with our dog for few nights. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy park. Had to shift from one caravan site to the one beside it when they were exactly the same size. They really couldn't explain why. Short walk to beach. Not too far from Fremantle. Bonus that it is a G'Day Park.

Overall the park was good but there are better ones around the area.Contact was good and booking easy. The bays in the park are small and do not allow for you to park your car next to your van.You have to park it around the front of your van and bring it in as close as you can so you dont block the road for other people. It made walking around your van to get to the toilets difficult and meant walking through the gardens. We were in the older area. The toilets were clean and the laundry was great. No problems there. My main beef was the distance you had to walk to access the beach.Walk left and the round trip is around 6kms to get to the beach and walk back.Walk right and its around a 2km walk.We found on the last night that if we opened the gate in front of us we could walk directly to the beach which was shorter but still was a hike and you cannot take your dogs through the gated area.(we didnt have a dog). The beaches were lovely, peaceful and quiet and you basically had them to yourselves. The chalets and accomodation there looked lovely with shady trees and plenty of parking.Nothing wrong with the park but couldnt give it a better score due to the distance to get to the beach. If you drive your car its fine but we wanted to walk.Swimming pool, carts for kids to ride, bait machine at the front

50 minutes from home but a lovely change of scene. Great site for families, plenty to do on site and handy for Coogee and Freo. Short walk to the beach and fishing off the jetty. Walking out to the cafe by the beach for ice cream after dinner was a nice treat. Decent size pitches and clean ablutions. Minor gripe is the one vehicle per site rule is not enforced so visibility can be limited when trying to walk round the site and keep kids safe. Would stay again.

G’day stamphill, thanks for taking 5 to leave us your awesome feedback! We’re pleased to read you had a great stay with us at Discovery Parks - Woodman Point. We are looking into your comments about the one car per site rule, this should be in effect however is a little hard to police during busy periods. We hope to see you again soon. Kind Regards, the Discovery Parks team.

Stsff were very unhelpful although we arrived early refusing to check our site to see if it was vacated. Not allowing us to use the toilets whilst waiting instead sending us to the public toilet area further down the road with no consideration that we were towing a 21ft caravan!! Packed in like sardines, dogs next door barking incessantly, no nearby bins and allowing running engines of delivery vehicles next to our van for 15 mins!! Lovely area although too busy for us yhis time of year. We won’t be back

We have stayed here a number of times. Reception is only 10am - 3pm. We normally book on the G'Day Rewards site. Have had occasion where they have billed me twice because they couldn't find my payment on their website. We booked online yesterday before lunch and advised we will be arriving after hours but apart from the confirmation, we have had no contact. Thankfully they don't change their gate code regularly as they don't answer their "emergency" after hours number which goes straight to message bank. The message says to call straight back if it is an emergency. You can call back as many times as you want, no one answers. Head office doesn't answer either. Discovery seems to be completely run by messagebank. The park itself is being run into the ground as is the neighbouring park at Coogee. Top Parks (affiliated) are independently owned and in many cases run better by their family owners. My suggestion is if you want to stay in parks that are serious about the service they provide, Discovery aren't at the top of the list.

Absolutely loved staying here! We had a grassed powered site for our camper trailer which had newly replaced shade cloth on the ground for the annex to go over. The amenities were clean and well maintained. Our only criticism would be that the camp kitchen ovens could do with an upgrade (take forever to get to temperature), however they were both in working order. The location is fantastic. Close to Fremantle and within walking distance to beaches. The park offers pedal trikes which are a lot of fun for the kids. We enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.

We stayed here nearly 6 weeks and loved every second! The staff is amazing and the amenities were always clean. The parks runs lots of free activities and it's heaven for families with children, with walks to the beach nearby. The manager Maddie is very approacheable and does an amazing job at organising activities, never a dull moment here! Highly recommended ✨

On check in the the staff member obviously had a very difficult day and her multi tasking skills need improving.
The park is well appointed but the ablution blocks need a good clean especially around the doors.
The only advantage of staying here is that it is close to Fremantle .

This place is well overpriced, old and dated. We camped for two weeks with young kids. The toilets and showers where absolutely filthy and cleaning was not apparent… also the facilities did not cater for the volume of people staying in the park.. The camp kitchen was also the same, old and dated. Needed a good clean. Not much grass with very few trees in certain camping areas also next to a very very busy road that never stops with traffic.
