My Italian bf and I stayed here for the rest of our vacation since we had rushed.
The foreign owner and his family were very hospitable to us. He accompanied us from the port and drove us to the very peak location of his place. I was shocked that it's very high grounded place, really Dream hill. That time, the other rooms were under renovation. Expected that we experienced some noises from the constructors.
Yet we suffered a not good air conditioning, it was bit noisy and not working well. The shower wasn't good too. We had hard time to adjust the hot and cold because of the old adjustment hinges. The cabinet was with smell of stock in a while. The bowl ring has unstable hinges. All of these, I hope they gonna fixed it.
We had our breakfast and it was well served and good. The spa was not available that time.
But the bed made me sleep good because of the rocks attached on the walls at the bottom side. The wall design is like the ancient Greek style. Also with the front mirror at the bed.
The balcony of the room where you can see the whole Sabang beach port and other hotels and restaurants. The beach view and the wind.
Until the last day, the owner drove us back to the port. He gave us a good instructions for our travel guidance.
We would like to stay back again and hoping that what we had before is already fixed.

I had a great time staying at the apartments up the hill overlooking Sabang. While I stayed only a week, everynight I sat out on the balcony for the sunset. I was there during the rainy season and it was still great. Dive Sabang is run by the owner of Dream Hill Condos, we had a lot of fun and I dived during the day, we had great dives during my stay. Alf and his family made for a very personal experience - highly recommended.

First time in the Phillipines but what a way to view it from here. Spectacular view from the balconies & Alf the owner was charming, friendly & very accomodating as well as the girls who worked there. He even picked us up from the pier & dropped us down after we finished our stay, which was great. Perfect spot if you are into diving which Alf was more than willing to share his vast experience of diving with you as well as organising diving expeditions & his Roman Bath.But as myself & the fiance were on a romantic trip we availed of the wide selection of restaraunts in Sabang & further on to La Laguna which is worth making the journey to for better beaches. Need a moped to get up & down the hill unless you are fairly fit & can take the Hill or the '100 steps' but at least it was quiet & serene here away from the traffic noise of the town. Would have giving a 5 star but for no hot water & the toilet had problems but overall this is a fantastic place for its unbelievable scenery & hospitality.

If you want diving, its fantastic. All dives we had were great. This is what we really enjoyed. If you want customer approach, it's poor. Alf (the owner) always says "tell us if you want or need something" but if you really want something and ask for it, you will have to listen very long story why he can't do it or so on (mainly "because it's Phillipines"). I believe the phrase "I'm not going to change my habbit because of some customer" explains it all. So we quickly stoped asking. And yes, we didn't tell it all directly to him, because we didn't want to listen agressive invectives. The location is nice but the place itself and mainly owner approach need improvement. We are open to pay higher price for certain service, but if barbeque at the beach provided by hotel cost you 1250 PHP per person and proper meal at white beach in restaurant costs you 250 PHP, you expect at least pro-customer approach. We also had to leave one day earlier, because there's no boat, we talked to the staff 3 days ago and even if the hotel was empty weeks before we arrived, during our stay and also after, the owner insisted we have to pay also the day we wanted to cancel with an excuse he is not able to sell it now. If we tried to tell him it doesnt make any sence and we told him before, he almost blackmailed us saying "So leave the hotel before noon" even if he knew the boat will pick us up late afternoon. Sad to write this, because we were doing our best to be friendly and respect the family life the staff has, but even if we have lot of travel experiences, this was the worst customer approach ever.

Hi! I am glad you liked your diving. Sad you did not like us... Some facts you may not understand.. If you two did your picnic..; boat and hut on beach only cost 1250p/person..no food and drinks yet. With our service it is including food and drinks. You got upset of im asking you to pay for your room.. I told you to only check out so we could offer room, to other guest. so no need pay for it. I stayed 8 nights at Dream Hill Condos and I was extremely happy with my stay ! The owners and staff are such fantastic people, offering great service and hospitality ! Resident manager Alf is both a great dive instructor and a very nice and interesting person ! He made me feel very comfortable while diving and he took me on some simply amazing dives ! He's also a man who travelled a lot and it was great to share nice moments with him, his family and friendly staff. My 2-bedroom apartment was large and well equipped (including decent kitchen). Ok, don't expect brand new and architectural design equipment and furniture (although there was a very new and large flatscreen Tv and DVD-player in my room !) but in exchange you'll get a very spacious and comfortable unit, a large balcony and truly amazing views ! During my stay the taifun Haiyan hit the Philippines. Fortunately eastern Mindoro wasn't affected that much, but still some very heavy winds hit the area. It was remarkable how Alf and the staff took every possible precaution to cope with the taifun and maintain the clients comfort ! A generator provided electricity, bar and restaurant remained open, warm water remained available, etc. Every possible demand was dealt with. Be it renting a decent motorbike at an affordable rate, organizing dive trips (one of Alf specialities being a very experienced dive instructor !), offering some interesting hikes, or a great dive&BBQ-trip ! Another great bonus is the new Roman Spa ! This was a truly superb experience ! It's a very well designed place within the property ! I really enjoyed a wonderful afternoon : a fantastic scrubbing followed by one of the best massages I ever had ! Great atmosphere, great music, and professional and dedicated staff ! Waw ! I feel grateful for a great stay and superb hospitality !

We rented a two-bedroom apartment for a couple of nights after looking at the pictures and reading reviews, Â only to find it wasn't all what it was cracked up to be.Â
The Pros The views are absolutely lovely, overlooking Sabang and the bay, the view was very lovely to wake up too. The apartment was very spacious and will happily sleep 4-6 people and there was a keg of filtered water.Â
The Cons Where do I start? On walking in, the furnishings looked very dated, tired and the sofa especially had a fair few stains on it. The cupboards in the kitchenette hadn't been clean properly or at all. There was a strong stench from the toilet and I couldn't understand why. There were a great deal of ants around and a lot of the light fittings either needed replacing or at least some form of maintenance. The towels although they smelt nice, needed to be replaced as they looked old and worn. The matress was rock hard and the pillows were no better, so a goodnight sleep wasn't really an option. The shower was also abysmal as all it was was only a trickle of water, hot water though so not all bad.
Overall it just didn't seem to match the price we paid, especially for supposedly three star accommodation. I'm not sure what other places in Sabang/Puerto Galera are like but if this is rated at the top, I'm unimpressed by the whole place. Having stayed in a fair few three establishments here in the Philippines, I thought I knew what I was getting booking in here but obviously not. On a side note, it's on a very steep hill so if you've got mobility problems you mat struggle.
It almost felt like although the owner has got big plans for expansion, the existing property is being overlooked which is a shame as it has got potential to be such a great place to stay.

I stayed at this place 2 Months as I was looking for a long term stay to complete my Divemaster cert. Alf the owner was very welcoming and offered me a great package including accommodation and Divemaster package as Alf is also an excellent Dive Instructor. Once I got there I was pleasantly surprised as I got a great condo with a view that can only be described as fantastic and you have to be there to experience it for yourself. The staff was the best ever and made me feel like part of the family. Alf and his family also took me in as if I had lived there forever. Walking down to the Beach is simple and quite fast. Only around 3 minutes using the steps or 5 minutes using the road. Every condo there has it's own private entrance and if you need some quiet time you will definitely get it there as the condos are in a relaxing safe setting there on the hill. Regarding safety this place is one of the safest I had ever been to in the Philippines and never experienced any issues during my stay there. Alf is always improving his Condos there and if you need something the staff is always helpful to fulfill your needs. If you are looking for paradise away from home you will love this place! I felt very sad towards the end of my trip as I had really made a lot of new friends there including guest there and staff. These where two very memorable months in my life and my next return will be to no other place then Dream Hill Condos. Kudos to Alf and his Staff and I miss you guys!!!

The hotel is located on mountain and offers a great view. The staff is very friendly offering their helping hand whenever needed. Environment is relaxing. Hotel organize diving trips as well and other activities by request. The place can be recommended.

Im currently living for a few month in the dream hill spa and condo's the sundown is one of the best in the wold seen from her, and the manegement and staf will do enything to make you happy it is not expensive, but clean and wellkeept. The food is Scandinavian orientet, but you can have what you want,,,Chek it up .

I had never travel to the Philippines before this and only stayed a few place in my travel while on this trip. I found Dream Hill to be overall very pleasing and clean. Dream Hill Condos is located on top of the hill away from all of the noise of the town area and beaches but only a 5-10 min walk which make it feel very private like you’re on your own island. The view is awesome since it overlooks the island just this is worth any price. The staff and owner make you feel like your family and want to help you all time. They provide scuba diving if that your thing and much more but they have a Roman type SPA what a hidden treasure and this experience is like nothing you ever had before guarantee. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling or staying in Puerto Galera it’s a hidden treasure.
