The Betmanowska Main Square Residence Adults Only boasts a prime location that guests consistently celebrate, situating visitors amidst attractions with good value for money. Its rooms are lauded for comfort and views, despite some noting dated décor.
The hotel's atmosphere, adorned with live music and distinctive décor, adds to the charm, while the service and cleanliness receive high marks, with occasional inconsistencies. While the vibrant square can bring noise, earplugs are provided, and amenities like the praised breakfast enhance the stay.

What a great place to have stayed for our Friends 50th Birthday Weekend Break.. We were recommended to stay here by friends and have to say we were not disappointed, it was above and beyond more than we had expected. On arrival we were greeted by lovely friendly staff. We had a big room overlooking the square which was lovely (room 109), on the weekend you can here some noise from the square but this is were a lot of bars are, so a good tip is to use the earplugs that are provided, but hey we’ve all been young and life’s for enjoying. There were chocolates on the pillows a bottle of proscesco also fresh fruit and fridge filled with soft drinks. Don’t think I’ve stayed in any other hotel that gives so much. We took advantage of the jacuzzi and processco which was lovely and relaxing after sightseeing all day. We arrived back after a day trip from Autschwitz to find a our room was cleaned and looking fresh and a lovely bar of chocolate thanking us for choosing there hotel. The staff on reception were extremely helpful when we asked for such things as Vegan restaurants. It’s central to everything and easy to get to the Jewish Quater. We wouldn’t hesitate to use The Betmanowska again it is well worthy of the high ratings it receives. Thank you making our stay so memorable. Rachel Debbie and Elaine.

Dear Rachel, Debbie and Elaine, We are very pleased to read your opinion about your recent stay with us! We are also happy with the recommendation - this is our most valuable form of advertising. Thank you for appreciating our employees who care about the comfort of our guests during their stay. Our location in the very center of the city is one of the biggest advantages of this aparthotel, as you mentioned sometimes, you can also hear it - but as you say, life must be done! In the middle of the week it is much calmer here, but of course the ear stopppers are always available for any inconvenience. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again. We are pleased to welcome you! regards Zyta Rydzik manager

My boyfriend and I arrived on Thursday for three nights. Greeted with Prosecco at check-in which was lovely. Prosecco, filled fridge with water, milk and soft drinks, fruit plate & chocolate was also provided in the room. The fridge was also replenished every day😊. Amazing room (310), it was cleaned every day and the jacuzzi was a nice touch when arriving home from a long day of sightseeing. Our room also had a view onto the main square which was lovely. Some noise can be heard from the square but not a lot to disturb your sleep or anything. Ear plugs were provided but they were never needed as the noise didn’t disturb us, every thing was perfect. We booked Auschwitz-Birkenau tour through the hotel which was organised efficiently. Betmanowksa is in the perfect location - literally on the main square. Walking distance to every thing. We never needed a taxi. We walked to and from the train station to get to the airport from there which was only a 15minute walk. This has been the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Highly recommend staying in Betmanowska :). I would happily return. It’s like a five star ⭐️ and staff are very friendly with good English.

Booked the deluxe room wit jacuzzi bath as a treat for my partners 40th birthday present. We were greeted at the airport by the hotels driver who took us to an amazing Rolls Royce (chargeable but works out approx £50 and worth it as a treat). We arrived at the hotel in style. Our room was 109 which is directly on the main square with amazing views. A bottle of Prosecco was in the mini bar along with soft drinks all included. We also had fresh tones and slippers for our stay.
Out towels and beds were changed daily and the mini bar re stocked with soft drinks.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing (especially the scrambled eggs with crispy bacon), a fresh selection of cold meats, pate, cheeses, cereal, yoghurt you name it it was there.
The only down side to being in the square is the sound of the the trumpet from the church every hour on the hour even through the night (you didn’t have to worry about that the time was you were informed 🤣) this isn’t the hotels issue though obviously. Just worth mentioning. The hot water was constant, and the jacuzzi bath was the best thing after a freezing cold day visiting Auschwitz. We arrived back to the room on our final night to a lovely card and a bottle of red wine thankon us for choosing to stay with the hotel. We will definitely stay again in the future

We had an "almost" perfect time at this hotel. Hassle free pre-arranged transfer in a minivan for a reasonable price got us to the hotel very easily. First impressions of our room 101 were "wow". Beautiful city view, double jacuzzi and the shower looked amazing. The free mini bar was restocked with soft drinks daily and the prosecco, robes/slippers a lovely touch.
Top tip is to eat before 6.30pm on a Fri or Sat night to get any chance of a table in the hotel restaurant where the breakfast is served. You may be able to reserve a table though although we were not told of this, simply told they were full. It is very popular, but on eating there I could see why. I had the traditional sausages and fried onions. The sausages were delicious!
The negatives - in room 101 the nighttime noise for a luxury hotel was in my view bordering on unacceptable. However it was our choice to have a city view apartment so we didn't complain. The white noise of loud chatter was fine. But we were woken regularly to the sound of the bugle player from the tower, or rowdy pubgoers from the hotel pub below. Chucking out time seems to be 1am. The highlight at 1am on Sunday morning being woken with a very loud and slurred group rendition of "oh when the saints" in Polish!
The other small negative for an English couple was the lack of teabags in our room! We had been out for the day and had hoped for a refreshed supply in our room when we returned. When my husband went to ask for some teabags at around 8pm my husband was told that housekeeping had gone and so there were none.
There didn't seem to be any attempt to help resolve this maybe by offering to get us some tea from any of the 3 restaurants? I would have expected some thinking outside the box from a luxury hotel. 3rd world problems I know, but it was something that could have helped us enjoy the stay more.
Overall though we enjoyed the stay. Just wish I had had more undisturbed sleep there.

We had a fantastic stay here at the weekend.
Airport Transfers:
I would recommend booking the Rolls Royce transfers via the hotel. Driver was waiting for us at airport arrival hall and the car was beautiful.
Check-in:
Despite arriving a few hours before check-in time we found that our room was ready early which was great. We were offered a glass of Prosecco while checking in which was a nice touch.
Room:
We booked a Junior Suite facing on to the square and the room was fantastic. There was a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in the room and the mini bar had water and soft drinks available free of charge and replenished every day. This was probably the nicest room I have stayed in during a city break in Europe.
Breakfast:
Breakfast was buffet style consisting of a wide variety of choice. You also had the option to have different varieties of eggs or pancakes freshly cooked to order and served to you at your table. There’s also an ‘Adult Station’ with Prosecco and different flavoured vodkas if you fancy a tipple to start your day!
Tours:
We booked tours to Auschwitz and Salt Mines via the hotel. They use a company by the name of ‘Krakow Direct’. I would recommend both tours and booking tours via the hotel as everything ran to plan and pick up was from the hotel front door. Payment is made direct to Krakow Direct not the hotel.
Krakow:
This was our first time in Krakow and it has been our most favourite city break. We can’t wait to come back. Everyone we met were so friendly. The city is beautiful and I’ve never experienced so many well reviewed restaurants and bars in such close proximity. Prices for food and drink were extremely cheap in comparison to the U.K. and some other European cities.
If you are considering visiting Krakow then a stay at Betmanowska is a must. We can’t wait to return and when we do, we will be returning to Betmanowska.
Thanks you
Mr & Mrs Morrison

We stayed here in early November. Communication with this hotel was second to none, right from booking to check out. Reception staff were knowledgeable, polite and courteous. The room was spotless, everything you could possibly need - a welcome bottle of Prosecco is just what was needed after the journey; staff even arranged pick up from and to the airport. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.
Location is everything about this hotel - it is perfectly situated on the main square and the view are incredible; the vibe of the square is infectious whether you want to shop, eat or drink or simply people watch - it really is amazing.
All in all, we would not stay anywhere else. Thank you so much

I can not fault this hotel. We arrived half an hour early and were greeted with a glass of Prosecco & lovely smiley staff!
Our room was ready so we headed straight up to drop off our bags. The room was just fantastic!
Large jacuzzi bath
Plenty of hanging/ drawer space
Fantastic shower with two heads & multiple settings.
Prosecco on ice on arrival (free of charge)
Selection of fresh fruit
Mini fridge full of soft drinks & water (refilled daily free of charge)
Chocolates on the pillows
Mobile phone to use whilst in Poland (e-concierge)
And of course the location is second to none! Our room overlooked the beautiful market square.
Couldn’t fault and would recommend to anyone.

Stayed in this fantastic hotel for 4 nights in mid November
Location 5* + on the main square in the old town everything is a short walk away
Reception 5* very efficient , we turned up 3 hours before check in opened but they were very happy to store pour luggage, and also efficient in organising a lift to a suburb of Krakow, Zielony Jar we needed to visit
Bedroom 5* We had one of the Junior suites over the square, bed was super comfy and it was quiet at night alto this may change in the summer. Well equipped room, with TV (few english channels) jacuzzi bath and quite powerful shower, very clean.
Breakfast 4.5* whilst the buffet is excellent the hot food choice is limited (no bacon!) and they serve each part on a separate plate!
Overall i would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone

Just got back from a lovely city break in Krakow! Great to get away during such uncertain times, but everything is done very well over there! This is our second time staying in Betmanowska, and it won’t be the last
Everything about this place is amazing! The location of the hotel is right in the middle of the main square (views from our room are on the pictures) and the rooms are unbelievable - jacuzzi looking out on to the square, comfortable beds, modern bathroom etc.
I’d recommend the rooms with the main square view to anyone - you can’t hear any noises with the windows fully closed and the views are just breathtaking! We stayed in a Junior Deluxe Suite for reference
Staff are so helpful - sorting transfers, days out and suggestions about local places! They couldn’t be better! They even upgraded our airport transfer to a Rolls Royce after arranging it last minute for us!
Bottle of Prosecco to welcome us and a bottle of wine on the last night.
I’d suggest this place to absolutely anyone, and I hope to go back as soon as possible! Great place to see a lovely city!
Thanks everyone ☺️👍🏼

A very happy few days spent at the very comfortable Betmanowska at the end of July - I booked a spacious Suite with the double jetted tub and view right over the main square.
All amenities were right on the doorstep with a line of open air restaurants a few steps away - all offering a local menu plus Italian and a terrific selection of cocktails, so plenty of choice.
The room was very well laid out with sensible storage and convenient plug points. The mattress was extremely comfortable and I slept like a log every night. Although the room overlooked the square there was no noise disturbance due to the double glazing.
Very clean throughout and I appreciated that the room was cleaned promptly in the day.
Great choice at breqkfast and plenty to choose from as a vegetarian.
I liked it so much I have already booked another two stays there.

no idea. we didn’t fly in
Good morning,
As other travellers have advised the toilet is separate.
I found the room very comfortable, the bed linen was great, and it was so quiet.
A lovely hotel, amazing location.
Enjoy
No it clearly states ADULT only. 15 isn't an adult. Plenty of other places in that area.
We did not have any problems with noise from the main square. The only exception, was someone decided to light fireworks in the main square around 10pm one evening. Obviously we heard these fairly well, otherwise no issues.
