They arranged airport taxis and tours for us.
Breakfast was very good. It was in a quiet side street and there was no noise from any bars or restaurants.
Would stay here again.
Breakfast was good, nice selection and eggs cooked on request.
All receptionists were extremely nice and helpful and were able to answer questions or advise on trips or bars etc. nothing was too much trouble. Housekeeping was very good also.
Location is absolutely perfect, right in the middle of the Jewish Quarter surrounded by bars, cafes, restaurants and convenience stores. Whether you turn right or left you’re spoilt for choice. The main square is a 20 minute stroll away and is worth a visit.
We took the buggy tour on the last day which was perfect as it enabled us to see everything we had missed and all our questions answered.
We did the Zakopane and Thermal Springs tour - fabulous !
We also did the Aushwitz-Birkenau trip, harrowing but something that needed to be seen and certainly puts things in perspective. By staying in the Jewish Quarter you are more able to appreciate the whole history of events that occurred during the war and occupation.
We would definitely return to this hotel.
We arrived early but our room was ready so they let us check in. We were given room 12 1st floor. If you are given this room number be aware that the room is next to the lift shaft so its very noisy.
The bathroom is tiny, so cramped.
The duvet doesn't fit the bed either its alot smaller than the mattress.
Cobwebs in bathroom.
Maids clean daily, the hotel is spotless, breakfast was your typical continental but delicious the lady who worked in the restaurant couldn't do enough for you.
Staff very attentive, the hotel is very dark, dark wood, dark carpets and not much natural light at all.
Location, in the centre of the Jewish quarter, about a twenty minute walk to the main krakow Market Square.
TV has a wide range of options, in various languages, including English, French, Spanish, Polish, German, Italian and Arabic.
Location-wise, the delights of the vibrant Kazimierz district are all within very easy walking distance. A short (5 minute) walk takes you to a tram stop, which will take you either across the River Vistula, the edges of the Old Town, or the railway station. There is a wide selection of restaurants, and bars, for all budgets, mere minutes away from the front door.
LGBT travellers -: As a gay couple, we felt very comfortable in the area, and in the hotel. At least one other gay couple lodged at the hotel during the time of our stay.
Despite falling ill, we very much enjoyed Krakow, and would be delighted to return to the David Boutique Hotel.
We were pleased with the breakfast each morning that set us up for the day. An assortment for everyone.
The hotel is located in the Jewish quarter and takes about 15 mins to walk to the main square. However we used some of the bars and restaurants just outside the hotel which were lively too. Nice little pub that is literally outside the hotel . You don't hear any noise from the pub in the hotel either :-)
Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
Krakow Grzegorzki railway station 10 min walk, trains to Wieliczka Salt Mine & Auschwitz from here, you pay conductor on train, very cheap & easy. Stradom Tram stop 10 mins opposite direction, buy tickets at the machine at the stop. Tourist tickets available, up to 72 hrs, minimum is 20 mins. The tickets work on buses as well, they can be one zone or 3 zone.
Lots of museums, galleries, churches and exhibitions very close by, and others easily accessible by public transport or taxi. Plac Nowy, 2 mins away has a rotunda with varied street food stalls, and different types of market during the day
Staff are extremely helpful and courteous, any problems resolved immediately. Rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard. Lift worked all the time and WiFi was good. This was my second visit to Krakow, and a return stay here would be no problem.
The staff are very good and nothing is too much for them, a friendly welcome and all the information that you need for a visit to Krakow.
They booked two tours for us, and both were all we wanted.
The hotel is clean and well maintained. We were on the front, yes it can be a bit noisy but if you close the windows you can't hear any outside noise.
The breakfast is far better than most hotels we have stayed in with a very good choice of hot and cold food.
We had an early start for one of our tours and were offered a breakfast meal box without even asking.
This hotel is great to base your visit to Krakow from, and we would throughly recommend this hotel to you.
"Upper floors provide a better view (either front or rear). The 3rd-4th floors back on to the historic Remah cemetery, and are very quiet."Read full review
