Very nice, clean hotel. Didnt look much from the outside but really nice internally. Small reception area and Simon was very helpful. We dealt with him most of the weekend. Small breakfast room but plenty of choice for breakfast, hot food included bacon, sausages, eggs and pancakes. Cold included pastries, bread, jams, meats, cheeses along with cereal and various juices. Tea and coffee and i think there was a toaster too. When we got to our room it was top floor, 6 flights of stairs! No lift which he explained why - our mistake as we didn't advise we would prefer lower floor. Luckily seats on each level so we could rest if needed. The room was very spacious and had a double bed, we had asked for twins as stayed with my sister, he rectified this in minutes. the hotel was happy to order taxis and advise of directions etc. They stored our cases as we had a tea time pick up back to the hotel. So close to the Christmas markets which was great. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The only thing which would improve the hotel would be to have a small bar or a vending machine to purchase soft drinks. Would recommend to anyone visiting Krakow as it was so close to so many areas.

Golebia 8 Residence is in a perfect location near the square and main attractions but quiet at night. The room was spotless and comfortable, breakfast fresh and varied with plenty of it. The staff were so pleasant and accommodating, offering an early breakfast as we had to catch a bus early.

We arrived for our city break on Saturday and were able to leave our bags near reception as we were early and could not yet check in. We were pleasantly surprised by the superb location being righty by the main square. The reception booked our trip easily to visit Auswich and Bircenhau for the following day and explained everything we needed to know about breakfast and the room facilities. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely breakfast with cereal, hot eggs, toast sausages and continental choices. Fruit, tea, coffee and juices. Would recommend

We stayed in these apartments for 3 nights. We had a fridge and drink making facilities. The room and bathroom was impeccably clean, and the location is amazing! We were on the door step of the market square, and there’s many good restaurants and bars in the area. The owners and receptionists were so lovely, and they even let us keep our room on for an extra 2 hours free of charge!! Wonderful place, would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Krakow!

We stayed in Golebia residence for 4 nights in May. And to be honest my partner booked this as a birthday gift. I didn't have much time before we travelled to look at the hotel or any reviews etc.... and I needn't have worried! We had a fantastic time in Krakow! Arriving at the hotel I'm pleased our taxi driver knew where the hotel was located. As it was our first time in the city, looking for the wooden doors would have been tricky, with just what I could see as, a small sign to confirm the hotels entrance.
Upon entering the reception we were greeted by a very pleasant colleague who checked us in and took us to our room. We stayed in room 6 which was spotlessly clean and spacious enough for our stay. We only discovered on our last day (when you check every cupboard that you've packed everything) that a fridge was also in the room! This would have been so handy if we'd discovered it earlier. The hotel offered free WiFi which had a great signal and also a fantastic roof terrace, which I'd highly recommend taking full use of after a day of exploring. For me, I think the only criticism is the lack of towel changes. As we shower twice daily, we found it difficult to dry our towels before it was next needed. At the time of year we visited the radiator in the bathroom wasn't in use, and it was out of season to require the air conditioning. However, when I asked at reception for these to be changed, it wasn't an issue and found a full set of fresh towels awaiting our return from a day's exploring.
The location of the hotel was amazing! It was just a short walk from the main square in Krakow which had loads of the main shops, bars and restaurants. Also not too far away from the castle or river.
We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast was perfect! Always bacon, sausage and eggs. A small selection of cereal, breads pastries and juices which provided a perfect start for each day.
On departure check out of the room was at 11am. As our flight had a late departure it was no hassle for reception to look after our luggage. This was a fantastic bonus for us which allowed us to continue to explore the city with every hour we could!
I will safely say that I would love to return to the city of Krakow, and will definitely go back to this hotel too!!

We booked a beautiful room on the top floor. It had skylights that opened. You could stick your head out and see over all of the roof tops see all the church steeples. Unfortunately the hotel doesn't have an elevator and it was quite a hike up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was a little lounge area with easy chairs and a small table.
We had a split level room. The bed was upstairs in a mezzanine. At night you could faintly hear the bells of the cathedral chiming. On the lower level was a living room with a couch, an easy chair, the bathroom and a full kitchen. There was a handwritten note on the table addressing us by name and thanking us for staying with them. A classy touch.
Their breakfast was good. There was a pretty good selection of fruit, vegetables, a variety of sausages, cold cuts, bread and eggs. It was like being at someone's home. There was a counter with all of the food and behind it was a lady that was constantly cooking and setting out plates of food. There was plenty of seating.
This hotel is very thoughtful. The lobby has a little bit of everything. They had a bunch of umbrellas, books, games and other things you can borrow. There were padded benches along a wall.
The hotel was staffed by friendly, happy, extremely helpful young people. They carried all of our luggage up to our room and back down again. They recommended good, non-touristy places to eat, places to see and how to get around.
The hotel is in a convenient location. The main city square is at the end of the road and around the corner.

Visited here over new year. One street back from the central square you couldnt ask for a better position & was so good value for money. We have just returned home from a fabulous weekend away in Krakow. Before going I contacted the golebia 8 residence to say could I have a lower floor room as I had mobility issues with stairs, they e mailed straight back to say that they had sorted a first floor room for us when we arrived we were taken to our room and explained regarding breakfast times etc. The room was immaculate and clean in a good position a short walk to the main square. Close to park and river a pleasant walk away. Plenty of choice for breakfast served from 8am till 10.30. Quick check out and were able to leave our suitcases to collect later as our flight was not until night time.

We stayed here for 5 days, excellent location, just a few mins walk from the main square. Staff at the hotel were all really friendly and helpful with any queries and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was good and on days when we went out early they gave us a replacement packed lunch instead. The room was comfy, bathroom small but that was fine. The WiFi wasn’t great (it kept randomly dropping off) but that might have been the location of our room maybe. The shared kitchen area with the room next door was handy too. We had a late flight on the day we left and were able to leave our luggage there. Would definitely recommend staying here.

All staff were friendly and helpful, very accomodating, even helped us up the stairs with the suitcase! Breakfast was lush, good variety of things to eat, they even packed us breakfast on a day that we had an early trip which was great! Spacious clean rooms, great location just off the main square, very easy to get around from here! There are 2 pin locked doors at the hotel so we felt very safe and secure staying here! Overall very good experience, would definitely return!

The apartments are split into two. They did have a few on ground floor which overlooks the courtyard. You can email them directly,reception is manned 24hrs. I would ask to see if they have availability for the dates you want
They were charging 90 zloty each way for up to 3 people when we were there in February. Uber is much cheaper but you have to walk the last 200 yards from the main road 29 zlotys each way.
There are more places to choose from in the Krakow area.
