Hotel M29 has garnered high praise for its well-appointed amenities, including a variety of breakfast choices and a prime location that offers guests the convenience of exploring nearby attractions with ease. Stayed here as 2 couples for 4 nights as part of an Easyjet package. We had upgraded to a suite and added breakfast. The price for 4 nights we would struggle to get 1 night in an equivalent hotel in the UK.

Reception, bar and restaurant staff, although all were young, were extremely efficient, courteous and happy in the jobs. Room was large and modern and the bathroom was a high spec, especially the shower. What I also liked was the smount of plug sockets in the room.... 10 of them. So with phones, kindles, ipads etc we never had to keep swapping plugs.

Highlight for all 4 of us was the breakfast, it was superb. Small bar off reception, which we used to wind down most nights. was comfortable and the cocktails excellent. 15 minute stroll got you to the main square and 5 mintues behind hotel you were in the middle of the Jewish Quarter.

Next time I visit Krakow I will not hesitate to book Hotel M29 again.

A great hotel in great location.
Stayed here for 4 nights in superior room.
Check in was very efficient and staff were very welcoming and helpful (we found this to be for duration of our stay).
The location of the hotel is excellent with easy access on foot to all of Kraków attractions. 15 minutes walk to main square and same for Oscar Schindler factory with Jewish quarter on your doorstep. The hotel pre-booked our airport transfers as well as guided tours of Aushwitz and Salt Mines (both highly recommended).
There are numerous excellent restaurants, cafes and bars in the immediate vicinity of the hotel especially two of them to the right of the hotel.
Our room was on 1st floor, spacious, comfortable and with a small balcony. Our only comment was the bathroom has a bathtub and handheld shower head so bear this in mind if booking a superior room. Otherwise very nicely appointed room. The hotel is really nice and immaculate.
Breakfast is served in downstairs restaurant and a fantastic choice including cooked to order menu. Food was delicious.
There is a nice small bar to enjoy a drink as we did.
In summary, a great hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended and we would most certainly return.

We originally had booked to stay at the sister Spatz Hotel, but due to renovations, we were moved to this stylish boutique hotel, just a short walk away.
We were very pleasantly surprised by its charm, decor and very friendly staff, who did everything possible to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Breakfast was included and was a vast choice including a continental selection, delicious local food, as well as yoghurts, cereal, cakes, a cooked selection of eggs, sausage, bacon etc, as well as a scrumptious made to order menu also! The egg and bacon Benedict was delicious !
Our bedrooms were huge with tea/coffee making facilities, sitting area and were stylishly decorated. The hotel is beautifully clean in all areas. We all enjoyed a very comfortable stay here. Thank you Hotel M29.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Hotel M29, and it certainly did not disappoint!

What really stood out for us was how clean the hotel was and how friendly/helpful the staff were. Our bedding was changed, and rooms were cleaned daily with bottled water provided to replace what we had used. The staff member on reception was welcoming on our arrival, and the member of staff at breakfast was really helpful, offering us scrambled eggs each morning.

There was plenty of choice at breakfast - pastries, fruit, yoghurt, nuts/seeds, Cereal, fruit juice, hot drinks, cheese, meats, sausages, bacon, fried eggs and much more. There was plenty of choice to cater to everyone.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. It took us around 20 minutes to walk to old town Krakow and in the opposite direction about 20 minutes to explore the area around Schindler's factory (we would definitely recommend visiting there by the way!).

The facilities in the rooms were excellent. There was storage space for luggage and clothes, a safe, mini fridge with mini bar items (at an extra cost), kettle with tea and coffee, hair dryer, and an iron and ironing board.

We contacted the hotel prior to our stay to ask if our 2 rooms could be next to each other if possible. We understood that this may not be possible, but the hotel managed to cater to this request for us which was very much appreciated. Our rooms were on the top floor which meant that had large sky light windows in the ceiling and only small square ones that looked out onto the streets. This wasn't an issue for us, but please bear this in mind if you would like a view of outside!

Thank you to all of the staff at Hotel m29 for making our stay so comfortable. We hope anyone reading this review finds it useful!

We did a last minute choice to visit Krakow with no prior knowledge of the region. This hotel is clean and smart with lots of mirrors which gives the image of it being bigger than it is as an optical illusion but it doesnt need to be bigger as cosy for what you need. It is based in the Jewish quarter which is vibrant with people, bars, hotels and restaurants, plenty for all to see and do. The hotel reception staff were very nice and informative of surrounding area, trips and very happy to help book anything we needed. Our room was on the 1st floor and was of a good size. The balcony was cute, but no seats on it and you weren’t able to leave doors open due to the noise from the restaurant garden below but apart from that it was good. The beds were twins pushed together to make a queen bed. There is a mini bar in the room for drinks and snacks but there is also a Carrefour on the corner which sells the same drinks, snacks and other bite you make need a lot cheaper. The bathroom was a great size with large tub with bath and shower options, the space in bathroom plenty for your toiletries and bits and pieces. the wardrobe is o good size for clothes with shelves and hanging room, it includes a safe and iron and ironing board inside.

Breakfast was included, this was fresh and plenty for all tastes, the scrambled eggs were made to order the reminder hot food was in serving dishes. There was plenty of other fresh option so fruit, porridge, meats cheese, breads etc. Fresh juice plus tea and coffee available. Staff were polite.
The room was cleaned and towels changed as and when we asked at other times we left room hanger to say to leave it.

We would definitely stay here again when we come to Krakow it is a great location, good base for tourists and you can get to everything with ease such as trams lines, restaurants, Old Town etc.

A really lovely little hotel in the Jewish quarter.
The room was spacious and very clean, the decor was modern and really nice.

Only downside to the room was the blinds, we had a top floor room which meant the windows were slanted and up high and it was so difficult to reach the blinds to open and close them, I had to stand on the bed and on a chair to be able to just about reach them and in 5’9.
The windows weren’t very good at keeping the noise out either, often being woken up by drunk people shouting in the street or the wind blowing but nothing earplugs can’t fix.

The water pressure of the shower isn’t too great, it gets the job done but it could be better.

Plug sockets next to the bed which is always a bonus, and plenty of plug sockets too, 2 on each side of the bed and plenty more around the room.

We did pay for breakfast on our last day, 130 zloty, around £13 each, which was quite pricey for the quality of it.
You had a choice of sausages, bacon, beans, toast, fresh fruit and some waffles and pancakes.
The waffles and pancakes were cold even though everything was kept in a warmer, the waffles were also over cooked so it was quite hard and crunchy when eating it which was such a shame as all the meat section was warm.

The sausages were lovely, quite a bbq taste and you got scrambled eggs cooked fresh which was a really nice addition.

The staff were always so kind and friendly, always smiling and very helpful!
Overall a lovely hotel, I would definitely stay here again!!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights recently with my son. I emailed the hotel the day before to say we were checking in in the early hours of the morning and had a quick response back to confirm. Check was quick, which was appreciated with a friendly member of staff.
The hotel is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean in the communal areas. A boutique hotel with an almost art deco feel. There’s a cute, little outdoor garden area, which is pretty at night with all the lighting, where you can sit and have a drink.
Our stay was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The room was well equipped with tea/coffee facilities, air conditioning, well stocked mini-bar, hairdryer and iron.
There were just a couple of things that I felt could have been improved upon that would have made our stay better.
Our room was huge with two single beds, which we requested. My main issue with the bedroom was that we only had two tiny porthole windows, which you couldn’t really see anything out of except for the top part of a tree. Despite being very spacious, this made it feel strangely claustrophobic. There were a few Velux windows in the roof, being on the top floor, but too high for a view. They were also too high to be able to open them or to pull the blinds down on them fully at night and there wasn’t a pole to reach them with either, so the light started coming in quite early. There was also a brown stain on the sofa and carpet, which possibly was makeup. I also felt the shower needed some sort of shelf or area other than the floor for shampoo etc.
Breakfast was disappointing. Both coffee machines weren’t working the first day, one gave hot water instead of hot chocolate and gave a blast of steam instead of coffee. One guest said that was the second day running. One of the machines was back up and running the second day but we didn’t go for breakfast the third morning as we decided to go elsewhere even though it was included. You are able to place an order for freshly made omelettes, poached/fried eggs and porridge. I had the omelette on day one, which was good to be fair. I was just generally disappointed with the other buffet offerings. The scrambled egg was dry and looked like it had been sat there quite a while. My son said the bacon was awful and soggy. You would usually have a continental selection of breads, cheeses and meats, but there were only a couple of slices of cheese and one pastry. I just felt it was a bit sparse overall.
The hotel location was good. Having now been to the area, I would prefer to stay more in the old town but it was only about a 20 minute walk to the main square or very easy to get an Uber so couldn’t complain.
Overall a pleasant trip but wasn’t blown away.

Dear Britt1972, Thank you for choosing Hotel M29 and taking time to write this extensive and very helpful review. We are glad that you mentioning our amazing, helpful staff and our short response time. We work 24/7 to make our Guest feel comfortable and welcomed before and during their stay. It is wonderful that you have enjoyed cleanliness, facilities and decor in your room. Please accept apologies for any inconvenience caused by faults in the room. There is a stick for roof window blinds in the closet in every room. Our reception would be happy to change your room for room on different floor - without roof windows. We are sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay in our restaurant. We take note of your suggestions regarding the breakfast buffet and will work towards improving the variety and quality. We are glad that you have enjoyed our breakfast hot menu options like omelette. We'll certainly take this feedback on board and look into ways to improve our breakfast and room facilities for future guests. Booked as part of a city break through EasyJet. The hotel is in an ideal location to reach from the airport, trains, trams, taxis and buses.

Safe and well lit location in the Jewish quarter, walking distance to the centre of Krakow with tram stop just 5-10 minute walk away.

The room was very comfortable, high ceilings and well adorned, modern bathroom that was functional and served its purpose with a larger than average shower with rainfall and flexible shower heads, heated towel rail and plenty of soaps and loo roll.

We were directly opposite the stairs on the first floor but due to the design and build could not hear a single footstep above, below or outside our room.

With air con available and larger radiators as well as windows that open it was easy to get the room to a perfect and comfortable temperature.

Enough storage for x3 adults, the beds were comfortable as was the sofa bed.

Would’ve received a 5star if the towels were bigger and better condition and the quilts a little wider (personal preference as they would leave me exposed mid sleep)

Breakfast was perfect for a break of this nature, waitress topping up breads and other items continuously, lovely options for eggs fresh cooked and always warm welcome and smile.

Reception staff were welcoming, helpful and just adorable.

Also arranged a take away breakfast for no additional fee for our trips with early collections.

Great hotel in the Jewish quarter of Krakow but within reasonable walking distance to the centre. Friendly staff, clean modern interior and well appointed rooms make this a great place to stay for our city break. Although we chose to eat out (excellent range of restaurants within minutes of the hotel) the hotel has a nice restaurant and small trendy cocktail bar.
Would recommend for it's location and facilities which also include air-conditioned rooms, free wi fi and (chargeable) mini bar.
Booked as part of an Easyjet package from Bristol so was excellent value.

We loved this hotel, perfectly located for sightseeing and bars&restaurants. It was clean, modern, well equipped and the staff were helpful and friendly.

There was a nice bar and a little garden area at the back which was lovely to escape to from the heat.

Our room was a deluxe and was very spacious with lots of storage, a minibar and safe, a seating area with a settee and a huge bed (2 singles together) The bathroom had a walk-in shower and plenty of shelving (Although none inside the shower, annoyingly) Air conditioning was very efficient.

Water and tea&coffee was replaced daily ( and we brought mugs up from the breakfast room). Breakfast was extensive;cereals, fruit, pastries, a range of cold meats and salads, a hot buffet and a menu of made-to-order dishes such as eggs benedict and pancakes etc
We honestly couldn't find anything negative about the hotel and would definitely go back.
