Comfortable, good staff, good service, good location. I like ibis style to separated toilet and shower room. Oops!! I would like to know how to perfect cleaning because every where are clean. So I want to stay there next times if I can.

Recently returned from a weeks stay at the Ibis Budget Krakow Bronowice. I have travelled to Poland several times and this was my first time staying in this Hotel and first time in fact staying in a 'budget' hotel.
Prices of more upmarket Hotels around Krakow appear to have doubled/tripled over the past few years and therefore it isn't justifiable to pay some of the prices being asked when if you're visiting to see the sights you're barely going to be in the room.
Price was very cheap in our opinion given the length of stay therefore given this is a budget hotel and given previous reviews we got what we expected.
Rooms are moderately sized, beds are standard with one pillow per person (Although i suspect you can request more) television and a walk in shower with toilet. No wardrobe and no Tea/Coffee/Hair Dryer etc in the room (Although on our floor there are some by the lift guests can use and return)
No thrills just as basic as you would expect, a reasonably clean room with everything you need to live out of a suitcase for a few days while you visit Krakow.
We didn't purchase breakfast given food in town is usually the same price and better quality therefore i can't comment on the same. I am also led to believe you can walk to the next door NovoHotel which is owned by the same company from my memory and they offer some form of discount for their restaurant although we didn't try it.
Hotel has Parking and a Vending Machine/Water Cooler at the entrance. Check in was done online and key was ready on arrival.
Daily turn down service from the maids therefore no complaints in that department. Weather was extremely hot during our visit but the rooms have A/C which worked well.
By Google Maps standard the hotel is a '40' Minute walk from the main square. I would argue it feels much longer and although i wasn't bothered about it when i initially booked, given it was 33 Degrees every day we only bothered to do the walk once.
If its your first time to Poland, or if you haven't tried this in your previous visits, i would highly recommend Uber for use from this hotel and for all travel in Poland. Depending on how busy they're were it was costing me between £2-4 (8PLN-20) from the Hotel to the main square. Miles cheaper than a Taxi and if you pay on the App with your card you won't get conned with the 'No Change' from the Taxis either.
If i ever visit Poland again, i would possibly consider other hotels, again this is due to distance from the main square and how basic the hotel was. However, if prices are substantially higher then i would have an issue staying here in the future as the money saved on this hotel compared to others allows for further things to do in Poland.

Seems to be a pretty good value for money hotel for a short trip. Could anyone please advise which bus line(s) to take to/from KRK Airport. Please specify most convenient bus stop too. Thanks a lot !!

Response from Maciej L, General Manager at Ibis Budget Krakow Bronowice
Responded Nov 18, 2016
Dear Niels K, thank you for contacting me regarding your question. Please be informed that the most convenient bust line connects Airport and our hotel is 208. It leaves in every 1 hour from Airport. Travel time is aprox. 37 min. Please get off on 20th stop from Airport called - Przybyszewskiego. Ibis Budget Kraków Bronowice will be 100 meters from stop on your right side. Regards, Maciej Leśniak

While still in this hotel, I can't believe how hard the mattress is.
Otherwise, the location is good (1' from main train station and a huge shopping center and 15' walk to the old town), the room is clean and the price was great.
The staff could be more smile, maybe get more knowledge about the city and its activities.
The room was very, very basic, that means 1 tower and 1 pillow per person. That's something easily fixable but the stone mattress not😑.
Overall, our final proposal to IBIS, Please fix the above issues and we'll be glad to come back 🙂.

Perfect mix of cheap price and good standards. I didn't expect such cheap hotel to be that well organized and have such pleasent stuff. Hotel is new, rooms are really clean and really tidy.
Towels were replaced and room was cleaned every day during our stay. You get a towel plus a soap per person. Bathroom was "sanitary" clean. Bed was tidied daily and trash taken out on a regular basis as well. Air conditioning was a standard and working perfectly.
Location is not perfect; but it takes approx 15 minutes by bus to get to the city center. You also have a supermarket around 10 walk from the hotel. Small shop is right accross the street and you can get nice cofee or any supplies you need in the gas station 2 min nearby.
I had an issue with WiFi which i eventually did not resolve but in general hotel offers free as well as premium WiFi service.
Overall - if you need really clean and cheap hotel - you get everything you need here.

Basic, clean, warm rooms with comfy beds. Ideal base to explore Krakow from. Buses running up and down very regularly, it's in the business district, about 40mins walk from the centre of Krakow. You can also hire bikes and cycle round the city from the hotel, or use the Uber taxis by downloading the app into your phone, very efficient, and very cheap. You can order breakfast at this hotel if you want to. Staff really nice and helpful.

This is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. Everything in this hotel was just OK. In our experience the rooms were clean but felt pretty bare. The problem we had was the noise. The walls seemed to be paper thin so the conversations in adjacent rooms and the corridor were really disturbing to our sleep. Also the corridor outside our room smells of cigarette smoke which was quite unpleasant

2 nights and 2 incidents. One large tour group of 15 year olds running around all night. The following night there was a firealarm at midnight and evacuation. Unfortunately I think both of these happen at times. The ac is very good . It coped well with a 32c day. It also had two English channels, both news of course. I didn't like the bed.

The room was fine, it had a view of a construction site, the bathroom was smelly and had no shower gel (first time I see that at an Ibis budget hotel) and no hands towel, only 2 big towels for shower, it was ok for a short stay and the price paid, the distance from the city center is about 15 minutes by car or bus.

If you want a 3* Hotel then there is a Novotel next door, if you want a 5* Hotel then pay a premium price in the centre of Krakow. If like us and travelling on a budget and happy to pay £130 for 5 nights in a budget hotel then this Ibis Budget is perfect.
The rooms are of a similar standard to Travelodge hotels in the UK, the air con is a bit hit and miss and there is noise from the busy road outside. I’m not complaining about either, I have a thermostat at home and live in a rural village and therefore have to expect that on busy roads there will be traffic 24/7 and this Ibis Budget is on a busy road. I knew that before I booked, I had read reviews, looked on google maps and therefore no complaints.
The room is everything I expect, clean and proportionate, breakfast is good and there is a frequent bus service into Krakow (route 501 to Polytechnic and short walk from there)
Free Wifi, Internet access and vending machines, parking is an extra and you can understand why (would become an office overspill carpark for neighbouring businesses / Krakow park and ride)
Overall, even though it’s 3am and very warm in bed, window open with constant traffic passing, I am pleased with this hotel and if in Krakow would stay again.
Staff are very friendly and as helpful as they possibly can be.
My only gripe is that there are 2 x USB chargers, 1 wall socket and 1 x 3 way multi-plug to charge phones etc... I personally don’t like multi adaptors and shower a little tight.

if I were you I would take a taxi - much easier and faster option, and if you are travelling with other people, then just take the taxi, this is the way I travelled. But if you insist on travelling by public transport there is website jakdojade-krakow and it will tell you all the directions. Good luck !
I used a uber all over Krakow,
