This is my first visit to Prague, so when looking for a place to stay, location was probably the most important factor. When I went through the reviews for this hotel, there were some pretty negative write-ups, but, after spending 4 nights here, I have to say, this is definitely somewhere I'd come back to. First up - location. This...

we stayed in the hotel for a long weekend in Prague. it was simply the best experience. the hotel is located a minute walk from the astronomical clock (just around the corner), 10 minutes from Charles bridge, and 10-15 minutes walk from the jewish quarter. other than the amazing location, the rooms are great - we stayed in the standard...

Stayed March 2017. Perfect location, short walk to Wenceslaus square. Had booked a room for three people, & was given a lovely, comfortable two bedroom one bath one ensuite unit, on the top floor. Only two units there and a small sitting area outside the units. Good internet, reasonable breakfast. Reception friendly & helpful. The driver Martin was VERY good...

Check in was swift, the room was just right, plenty of space, good storage space and a nice clean bathroom with underfloor heating and toiletries provided. A couple of bottles of water were provided which were very welcome as was the token for a welcome drink in the bar. Breakfast at the hotel was one of the best I have...

We had a nice room on the top floor with a view to the Prague castle. We had some special requests for the room which were all met and our expectations were exceeded. Location is great; one block from the old town square so you get away from the noisiest part of town. Staff was friendly, breakfast was plentiful and...

Dear Anton N, reading reviews belongs to the better part of my job, and reading some reviews - like your one - actually brings the best moments into my working days. It says me that all our work and efforts are not vain, and even more - if I dare say, that we contribute to all the beauties and spirit...

Dear John R, we are certainly grateful for all good reviews, but having a good review from repeated guest is even better: being a place to where people return is the best thing a hotelier and their staff could think of. Thank you ver much and we are looking forward to meeting you in Rott hotel again. Jana Budinska

Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a city beak package booked with Jet2, and chose it mainly because of the location , which turned out to be perfect. It was just minutes from the main tourist attractions. Our room was located on the 1st floor facing the street at the front of the hotel and although the Old...

I knew beforehand that this hotel was well located, and I chose it for that reason, but I don't think I appreciated just how well located it was until I had spent a whole day in Prague! It's within 5-7 minutes walk from Charles Bridge, literally around the corner from the Old Town Hall, Tower, clock and Old Town Square....

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
