They were all really pleasant and helpful and the meal, which was not cheap, was delicious. The decor is a success... Madame's Belgian touch is very present. “But” yes there is a “but”. The room (100€ therefore the most expensive) was so freezing, despite 3 heaters: air conditioning + stove + radiator, that we were unable to stay one more night. Impossible to enjoy the view (we chose the all-window room), impossible to stay reading in peace. With the -5° overnight we both got sick, luckily we only had 2 days of vacation left. In short, a nice place but avoid the large room which does not at all deserve its very high price given that it is impossible to take advantage of it. The place is neat and the hosts are attentive but the quality/price ratio was not at all correct for us, especially since they add 10% commission on a credit card payment while the transaction fees are not. are not more than 3%. We still have the impression of being “cash cows”. Good address all the same but be aware.

This was the best place I stayed during my month-long trip through Morocco. It massively exceeded my expectations! The rooms were clean, light and beautifully decorated, with incredible views over the valley. The staff were excellent – so kind and hospitable and genuine. I second what was said in a previous review… You really feel like a guest rather than a customer. They went above and beyond to help us when I crashed my rental car into a pole leaving a big dent in it, and the owner arranged a friend of his from a nearby town to accompany us to a garage to get it fixed. It was so valuable to have an Arabic speaker with us and in the end it only cost 5 EUR to fix. This gesture of kindness was deeply appreciated by us, along with the lovely bottle of rose perfume spray they gave us when we left. My boyfriend and I had the most perfect experience here and enjoyed the best couscous we have ever eaten in our lives. I recommend this wonderful place 100%!

We had a great stay at Kasba Chems! The owners and staf are very friendly and make your stay a great experience. One of the owners even spoke Flemish! Very convenient for us. We stayed in a room that was standing 'alone' on the rooftop of the kasba, this was nice as it was very private and quiet. We stayed two nights, and did a walk during the day in between. One of the staff was our guide and he took us on a walk of about 15 km, first through a gorge, and later to different villages, and gardens along the river. So nice to see the different landscapes.

Beautiful structure overlooking the Rose Valley. Special welcome from the owners, all super helpful.
Very good food, especially the lemon and olive chicken tajne.
We had such a good time that we decided to stay for two nights to better visit the beautiful valley.
Laundry service is also available for those traveling by motorbike like us.

+1
We were expecting to stay somewhere else, so initially disappointed, but our stay was absolutely incredible. Our guide let us stop in a nearby hotel to purchase alcohol and 16 out of our group of 22 had sundowners on the deck as the sun went down. Dinner (chickpea, lentil & coriander soup, couscous with chicken and homegrown, organic veges, and fruit salad) was lovingly prepared by family who own the property. Similarly with breakfast, breads, eggs, yoghurt with pomegranate, fresh OJ (we saw them picking the oranges last night), decent coffee, fresh and plentiful. We stayed in a new room with no aircon, but thankfully got a nice breeze and no bugs/mosquitoes. Our bathroom was modern and beautiful. There are murals/mosaics on almost every wall all done by a local artisan. All our group was very happy and I would highly recommend Kasbah Chems.

We found the accommodation in our travel guide and for that alone it was worth the money!
Even the email contact with Julie was very attentive and guest-oriented.
We asked for a trek in the Atlas Mountains and got exactly what we wanted. The house is incredibly cozy, the rooms just so, so beautiful and lovingly decorated. But the staff really exceeds every expectation: you can feel at home here shortly after arriving. There is no "can't do" here - practically every wish is made possible and we never had the impression that anyone had trouble with it. The trek for the two of us with guide, mule and "cook" was also what we wanted. We spent 6 days together in the mountains. It was a shame that the weather wasn't stable enough for the climb of the Mgoun. We'll be back and then it will work out. Mohammed, the guide, took the criticism that he didn't discuss the change of plan with us well. Hopefully this will benefit other guests. After 6 days in the simplicity of the mountains, we enjoyed one last night in the Kabah Chems. On the day of departure it was difficult to get a shared taxi into the valley. Without further ado, we and our luggage were driven to our bus in El Keela by a member of staff. That's what I call service. We are already looking forward to the next time. Thank you Said for the wonderful stay. Best wishes to the whole team. Sabine&Uwe

Great welcome from Brahim. A delicious cuisine, a superb view of the room on the valley of the roses! the next day a hike in the valley of the roses to perfect everything!
At Kelaat M'Gouna Brahim's souk we found the best place to buy spices and rose water, all without compensation.
In summary, my best experience in Morocco, thank you
Brahim.
Thanks for everything, we'll be back!
