I wish we had more time to spend in Riad Tazawa.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon tour of the Sahara and we were fortunate enough to spend one night in this lovely Riad.

The Riad itself is beautiful as one would expect. Our room overlooked the small garden from the second floor, where grapes, lemons, Rosemary lent a calming, rustic touch to the environs.

Hasan the proprietor was an exemplary host. He took us on a tour of the surrounding area from which one can view both the sunrise and sunset. Alas we only saw the sunset. The valley from our vantage point was cast in a beautiful light as the evening set upon us. Be prepared for a little climbing as Hasan's route takes you up, down and through the dirt paths of the surrounding village.

Dinner and then breakfast were also worthy highlights. We were served an eggplant tagine as well as a lemon chicken tagine. Both were excellent homemade fare.

On a clear night you can see the stars from the garden or your balcony. Unfortunately for us it was cloudy for the one night we stayed.

Hasan if you read this we would be delighted to come visit you again.

Spent the night here and I wish I would’ve stayed for two! As soon as the door opened, it was nothing but smiles, laughs, and good times! Staff treated me like a long lost friend who finally wandered back into town.

Ali greeted me himself and made sure my bags made it to my room while we chatted and Hassan brought out tea and joined us in conversation.
I went upstairs to freshen up before dinner and when I came down Hassan had started a fire in the dining room. It was a nice touch to the atmosphere. Dinner itself was delicious! Food was hot and fresh, each bite flavorful!

The room and bathroom were both clean, linens smelled of fresh wash, and the bed was comfortable. I definitely got a good nights sleep!
Breakfast in the morning was an excellent Moroccan breakfast! I enjoyed it greatly and then went for a walk through the garden out back. This time of year, nothing was really blooming but I can imagine the landscape and I know in the spring/summer it will just be beautiful! Plenty of different areas to sit, all offering different types of seating. Tables to have tea or eat at. Just wonderful!!

I recommend this Riad and will definitely stay with them again, the next time I wander into town!!

We went there with an organised trip and really enjoyed out stay! The spot was cleand and tidy. The host is a feiendly guy, who makes sure that you as a guest are served the best way possible. He cooks tasty traditional cuisine withs local ingredients. We also fell in love with the magical garden, which makes you feel you just went to another world.
Definitely comming back!

The host was so so kind during our stay! The drive into the road was a little questionable (through the rose gardens-but they weren’t in bloom so it seemed like we were driving into the wrong area) but once we reached the road we were so genuinely surprised. The backyard area was stunning with a herb garden and rose garden. There were gazebos, hammocks and couches so relaxing! You’re given mint tea as you arrive and it really sets the tone for the trip. The rooms were beautiful and well equipped with a balcony as well that looks onto a Kasbah! The host was so sweet and kind. And the breakfast and dinner were to die for. Well worth it !

Getting there is not easy, but the place inside the Riad is sensational. Eden must have been like this. The gardens with all kinds of fruit trees and roses. Spaces to relax surrounded by nature. Beautiful facilities with many details! They don't have the eyes to see everything. The food was spectacular, delicious, all prepared with great care and delicacy and to top it off, as if that were not enough, Hazan, an outstanding host, attentive, kind, concerned. Taking care of every detail. He lit the stove for us for a romantic dinner. You can not ask for more. Flawless.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Our family of 7 only stayed one night and we all regretted not having more time. The food was amazing, but our favorite part of the stay was going on a walk with host at sunset to see more of the area. The riad is stunning and so peaceful.

Hassan welcomed us as if in his gardens with tea and pastries. Right after, he took us to see a very beautiful sunset, he transmitted incredible kindness to us, and he did his best to show us the best he had.

The Riad was super nice, and our room was very cozy. Dinner and breakfast were very complete, authentic village food. Hassan was there for everything, from making sure we loved the food to giving us the best advice.

Highly recommended.

We stayed one night in a his adorable Riad. It was charming and so comfortable. We were the only ones staying that night and the owner took us for a walk to watch the most amazing sunset over the mountain. We had dinner and he started a fire in the fireplace. Itwas the perfect evening! We wish we had stayed longer.

We stayed one night on our tour and loved it. The staff very friendly and attentive.
In the afternoon he showed us the rose bushes and the views of the Valley.
The Riad's garden is perfect to end the day, a refreshing oasis.
