Doughlasha Hs is a family run Bed and Breakfast 10 min drive from killarney town center.We have 7 ensuite rooms and a 1 bed Appartment.There is a mini kitchen and dining room with all utensils and a barbacue and outdoor seating for guest use.Each room come equipted with Tea Making Facilities,Saterlite Tv,Mini Fridges and information on the surrounding areas.There is free wifi also.There is a large parking area free of charge.There is a free shuttle transport from kerry airport for bookings more than 2 nights.Collection is also available from bus/train station.Tours can be arranged to RING OF KERRY,DINGLE or GAP OF DUNLOE.

We stopped over for two nights to have a brief look at the Ring of Kerry. We were warmly greeted by Joan who gave us a couple of good tips to avoid the worst tourist traps and see some unusual sights - ask her about a trip through Black Valley! The room was large with a nicely sized bathroom and an incredibly comfortable queen size bed, and Joan turned out a very nice fried breakfast each morning. There is a large lounge downstairs attached to an even bigger kitchen/dining room with fridges, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and everthing you need for an attack of the midnight munchies. This is great value for money, and is perfectly located for the Ring of Kerry.

Myself and my parents stayed at Douglasha house bed and breakfast where I stayed before and decided to stay here again as it's in a wonderful location within driving distance of town and walking distance of restaurant and shops etc. The accomodation is very comfortable and feels like a home away from home as Joan the landlady makes you feel so welcome and always makes sure her guests have plenty to eat etc and is happy with everything. Nothing is a problem for Joan as she always goes that extra mile for her guests. There are lots of accomodation options for guests from b and b to self catering,mobile homes etc. 10 out of 10 from me. Feels more homely than hotels and better. From Hazel South Mayo

Had an absolutely fabulous stay in Douglasha House. Myself and a friend stayed for two nights with five children and it was truly a home from home experience. Joan is fantastic, so friendly, welcoming, and I can honestly say went above and beyond making our stay the best experience. The breakfast was exceptional. Thank you Joan - we’ll be back for sure.

Joan and her team were amazing-nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen facilities were excellent with everything you need to cook a meal. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order and served on very hot plates. Our dog was made welcome and slept happily in his bed in our room. Kennels are available if needed.
