Did not expect that we will enjoy our stay here MORE than Hen*nn hotel! Hotel staff are vvery nice accommodating and the hotel itself is 5⭐️ Complete slippers, towels, bathrobe & toiletries unlike the first hotel we stayed at that you need to request everything 🥲 We originally booked double deluxe room but upon my email and request they upgraded us for FREE on deluxe king room on ground floor infront of the indoor pool! My partner is very happy also with their Complimentary greetings with cake and snack for our 9th anniv. with our photos featured on their tv 💕 Our stay was surreal 🥰 and that's not all they also extended our stay for 1hr before Check out cause we stayed here during thyphoon kristine. When we come back we'll just book our whole stay here. We will recommend it to our family & friends!

The staff are very accomodating, they always clean the room looks like you just check-in. And they always ask you if you need anything in your room and they can also arrange or design for special occation like for my son's birthday and it's free no additional charge with a free cake(cup cake) that also taste great. I really and highly recommend this place and it also front beach which is also perfect for sun set and in the night you can chill with their bar with live band having a beer or any beverage you like oh it's really perfect to relax. And in the morning buffet breakfast that will full your tummy.

The hotel is actually pretty old but you know theyre trying their best to serve you well. The elevator is small it can only fit 2 people but you can still use the stairs. They have 2 pools, first one is beside the restaurant with beach view and the other one is an elongated Pool in the Middle of the rooms in the ground floor. The room has ample space but Ive seen more spacious once. The room also has a lot of wood in the design (even the floors) and I dont feel thats best for a hotel near a salt water beach because it gets soaked a lot and i sometimes smell something weird. They have a centralized aircon system and i experienced daily brownouts for about 5 mins then they turn on the generator. They have a pretty stable wifi which was continuous even with the power outage. They have glass bottles for drinking which can be refilled when you call the lobby. There is a restaurant downstairs but a single meal can cost 400-500 which is pretty pricey for me. Overall the experience was good but there are lots of room for improvement.

Our family booked this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights under their reopening promo rate. For the price, we'd definitely recommend this hotel ❤️ It's about a 15-20min walk to D Mall. Quite far but it was located in a less crowded area which we liked. Upon arriving, they gave us cold towels and drinks, and allowed us to check in 2 hrs early. The hotel looks very classy and the service was excellent ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They emailed us a week before we were due to arrive to make sure everything was set and promptly answered questions. During our 1st night, the AC in one of the rooms broke. It was 11pm when it happened but someone was able to come at once to fix it and even changed the sheets to get rid of the bugs that got in. They also fixed the hot water in the rooms when we raised the issue. We really appreciated that. They cleaned our rooms, changed all our towels daily, and lent out free beach towels and beach mats. The manager woke up early at 5:30am to see us off when we checked out and even called an e-trike to bring us to the port. They also gave us sandwiches and water to bring to the airport. The only thing we can comment is that they might need to renovate/make improvements first before charging the full price for the rooms (Php10-20k/night). There were very noticeable peelings in the wooden console in our room and the wood in the hallway looks like it has termites. There was also a faint sewage smell in the bathroom. The downstairs bathroom was a bit dirty and had a broken faucet. The wifi was not very reliable; it kept disconnecting.

Overall experience is great, clean and comfortable beds and lighting. The furnishings are also very well kept.
Great restaurant and location

I only have one comment for improvement, to regularly check the pipes and holes in the toilet sink.
It has a foul smell. Maybe provide some scented candle to offset any possible smell.

Aside from that everything is set for a wonderful and restful vacation.

Thank you.

The staff are one of the nicest people I have ever met. They are all in full attention and response very quick when we ask for assistance. However, the pool should be been maintained every hour or find a solution to minimize the dirt falling on it. Also, the unli breakfast is not impressive as we are dealing with the same menu on a daily basis. It could have been a hotdog instead of a sausage, pasta instead of pancit or at least replace fried rice with chowfan. Food is one of the greatest asset your hotel could ever market to its future guests.

The property was extremely accommodating, the staff was kind and friendly, housekeeping was very detailed when cleaning the room. The restaurant was excellent, the staff were very attentive. I booked 2 rooms for my stay as I travel with my family often throughout Asia. I had never encountered a COMPANY POLICY that required a deposit for an extra room key. I was only given one key per room, with 2 people staying in each room. This is unacceptable, the company needs to do better.

Mandarin White Sands has the best staffs ever! From the receptionists, to housekeeping staffs, to their resto (all food and bar attendants including their chef and team) and security personnels, they made our stay extremely comfortable! The room that we got is fronting the mini pool which made it more dramatic when you go in and out. At first there was a woody scent inside the room but their HK provided us with a humidifier, totally appreciated since we have an asthmatic child. The hotel is situated strategically fronting the beach, they also have a resto where we mostly dined in. It’s hassle free especially we caught a typhoon on our last 2 days of stay. Nonetheless, their service is really really great! And I can thank their team enough for a great job in accommodating us!
