Calypso Beach and Dive Resort garners high praise for its immaculate cleanliness, with guests consistently commending the spotless rooms and well-maintained private pools and beach areas. The vibrant atmosphere, bolstered by live music and diverse dining options, is a highlight, though it may contribute to noise issues for some visitors. While the spacious rooms with breathtaking ocean views are a hit, a few reviewers have raised concerns about unwanted critters. The staff's warm and attentive service is frequently lauded, enhancing the resort's appeal. Despite occasional comments on extra charges and meal prices, many travelers feel the resort offers excellent value, particularly due to its serene beachfront location and easy access to local attractions.

This is our third stay at the hotel.

The staff all remembered me from my last visit, and they are always smiling and friendly.

This time I tried one of their smaller beach front rooms (Deluxe Ocean View) which was great with very good ocean view rooms and a balcony.

Location at Station 3 (a more quieter part of White Beach) is great and I love swimming at the beach in front of the hotel. Lots of shopping bars and restaurant close by.

There is a small pool at the hotel but I prefer to swim in the ocean.

I can only give 4 stars mainly due to the noise issues from the live music played in their restaurant every evening.

The restaurant where I dined for breakfast and a few times for dinner is consistently above average. I enjoyed their tender fillet steak on two occasions and the included plated breakfast has both local and western options.

More than likely we will return and stay here again.

We love Calypso Resort, it is like home away from home.
We have been staying in this hotel for 4 straight years already. The location is strategically located between station 2 and 3. The resort is a stone throw away from the beach, if you want to eat lunch/dinner, Sensi restaurant provides sumptuous food, if you are on a budget, there's Pares Hilton. If you want something sweet, they also offer home made ice cream and delicious shakes @ Sensi Coco. If you want to unwind and have a few drinks, they have acoustic band at night and their cocktails are worth the price.
Their rooms are super cozy and very spacious. It is not cramped unlike other resorts in Boracay.
And of course, all staff are super friendly and accommodating. Everyone from the hotel receptionist to the restaurant staff and housekeeping peeps. Super super nice!

Highly recommended!

Love every minute of our stay here.
Amazing ocean view, friendly helpful and attentive staffs, delicious food, comfortable rooms. We booked 2 rooms, really worth the price. We also appreciate that they are lending beach towels to each guest so we were saved from drying our towels. Strong wifi signal. Great customer service, even guide us where to smoke to avoid penalties 😁
Cant wait to book our next stay here!

A charming stay here in Boracay where the enchantment of the views were only partially spoilt by Carina.

Check in was helped immensely by our guide/taxi/transfer, Bamboo, kindly arranged by Calypso. Smooth check in. Ran through some familiarities.

We're opted for Ocean sea view. We weren't disappointed. The sea in all it's glory maintained it's blue turquoise alluring azure...no matter what the weather.
Situated in Station 2, easy access from either side, in amongst the top line bars and restaurants. Vhub seafood festival, bars and fire dancers 5 mins away.
Room spacious.
Mini bar big enough to house water.
Bed big and comfortable.
Aircon efficient.
TV cabled.
Balcony roomy with place to hang clothes as well as loungers.
Safe in wardrobe, which was big enough to hang clothes.
Complimentary shower gels and one use toothbrush.
Pool and diving centre we didn't use.

Complimentary tea coffee making facilities, although hilariously the electric lead for the kettle isn't long enough for table use!

We ate once in restaurant and meal was gorgeous, although probably slightly overpriced if shopping around.
You do get a great view at Breakfast of White Beach, sea and it's patrons.
The service was exemplary, so much so that they were handing me a dessert menu the minute I had finished disregarding my partner who was still eating main course! (Apologies for cultural clash if this applies).

The staff could not be more accommodating.
Especially big shout out to Cheery, who's communication pre are arrival was brilliant. Helped so much. Especially with the much appreciated transfer arrangements.

This place appears to be a huge draw for the diving community.
Even though we couldn't participate this time because of weather interference, they look to have everything diving you could wish for.

Thanks for a lovely stay on the beach ...

Comfortable, friendly, clean and right on the beach. I stayed for 13 nights in the triple room which is one building back from the beachfront. Even though you can't see the beach but the balcony got lots of sun and was nice and private. The room was huge with a nice couch, a king bed and a twin bed, large coffee table and a comfy chair you can easily move. Everything was sparkling clean and of high quality. There are smaller rooms with no view but ever room has a balcony or patio. The smaller rooms are less expensive but I think the value of the triple room and the king rooms on 2nd and 3rd floor is excellent.
The reception is always open and staffed with helpful, lovely people. The restaurant is very good and a great place to watch sunset from their elevated seating right on the beach walk. Restaurant staff are wonderful, always greet you and provide excellent service.
The Calypso also has full PADI certification available and I saw guests getting their lessons every day. It seems like a professional operation.
It's a smaller hotel than some of the big resorts like the Hennan and Mandarin so the staff get to know you if you are there long enough.
Highly recommended, especially for the larger room I had. If you can, ask for room Lapu Lapu, they are all named after fish.

The beach is right in front of you so you can borrow a beach mat and lie down whenever you feel like it. The showers, smoking area and toilets are conveniently located close by.

We only used the restaurant for breakfast but it was delicious.

The rooms were clean. The air conditioner worked well. The Wifi was fast enough and there were no problems.

There seemed to be diving activities on offer so it seemed like there were a lot of guests interested in diving.

The staff were all cheerful and kind.

One negative point was that the ocean view room was under construction.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The family room have leaks on the wall. The floor is moisting from the AC too. The floor is wet most of the time. The housekeeping never cleaned our room for once. The other guest we talked with said that we could request for a cleaning. Never came to our mind to request because comparing to other resort/hotel we’ve been, changing of linens and cleaning of rooms were done everyday. Upon check out,a staff checked our room but it was too late when we remembered that our chocolate was left in the fridge and a toy shovel was left behind too. Was it really checked or didn’t bothered to tell at all? But with all those, some staffs are accommodating and helpful with us.

We were guests at this hotel and enjoyed some lunches and breakfasts in their restaurant.

The staff were very friendly and there are direct beach views from the restaurant.

One of my favourite meals was the rib fillet steak. I took a chance as I was expecting the steak to not be tender but it was delicious and tender.

Overall meals were very good. The only meal I didnt enjoy was the eggs benedict breakfast as it was far too sour.

If you’re looking for a scuba diving experience Calyso is very organised. I stayed a week with a quick refresher course in the hotel dive pool and then many dives. In Boracay, diving is quite amazing. Many different dive sites from shipwrecks, sunken aircraft, natural coral reefs and very clean water. From the fact Boracay was shut down for a refresher, I didn’t see one bit of plastic in the water. It is incredible because it can be a busy place. A beer can was found about 30 metres down on one dive and the Dive Master took it out immediately. It’s great to see the pride the locals take in their paradise.

As an advanced PADI Diver I wasn’t disappointed and the professional and high safety standards of the crew are on full display. Equipment is at the higher end for rentals. I bought my own mouthpiece which the crew was more than happy to deal with.

Hotel rooms are cosy enough with restaurants everywhere. Whilst I couldn’t get my tv to work, I didn’t even bother worrying about it. Too much else to do.

Chassy and the team of divers at Calypso made me feel very comfortable. Demonstrating safe practices reassured me that this was a much better than I’ve had elsewhere Asia.

Thanks for the stay Calypso and value for money is good for anyone sitting on the fence about booking.

Hi I will answer your questions first on the ones I’m definite with the answer. Their internet I would say is on top unlike the other hotels we stayed where, when we go in the room or roam around the vicinity it slows down or get interrupted. Regarding your query about the room I would suggest to drop an email with them to confirm your booking that it’s okay, I’m pretty sure they can accommodate you all but still it’s much better if you crossed checked it with them. Hope this help and you all have a great vacation for next month! Rhea ☺️

Hello, I've only had a couple cocktails here when I was caught in the rain last week. First round was before HH, full price is about US$ 4 each. After 5, only SELECT cocktails is 50% off, so about $2 each (these select cocktails are notated on the drink menu).
