Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Good spacious room and spacious bathroom. Awesome location beach front located at station 3 plenty of food options, they offer buffet at 299 pesos mostly local crowd, walking distance to 7/11 and other convenient stores. Only thing is there is a loud music band at the hangover food festival on the left side of the hotel which plays music till midnight this wouldn’t be a problem if you enjoy music. 3rd floor on the left side of the hotel doesn’t have a good or pleasant view due to abandon side or side under construction. All rooms seems to have a balconies. Worth the money & awesome and friendly hotel staff

We’ve spent 3 days 2 nights at this hotel and below is my review:
Location. Excellent because it’s beach front and close to many establishments.
Room. Nice and we got what we have paid for. We got the 3rd floor room.
WiFi/TV. I have never noticed the internet connection because we are always outside but they have WiFi and TV.
Food. Have never tried because we always eat outside and we have no breakfast in booking with Agoda. The staff said you may book with full board meals. May be I will try next time.
Staff. They are friendly. I noted “Tata” as their friendliest staff. Sadly, I expected more from them.
FYI. The resort is also used form large groups being offered by various travels and tours companies where they package the rooms, food, and island visits. Because of this, expect many guests in the resort. However, this should not be a reason for them not to give importance to other non-grouped guests. I remember one night I called for From Desk requesting someone to peel and cut the fruits the we bought from Ilo-ilo. The Fornt Desk said “try ko po maghanap ng Housekeeping” - And we waited all night but none came to notify us that none of their staff is available.
Reminder to manager that you are selling service here. My request is just petty but i was really saddened by the way your front desk on duty on December 22 (night around 8PM) handled my request. Please train them more. Thank you.

The lunch buffet is affordable at php 295.00. Limited selection but good enough to enjoy lunch. If you are on a budget and wants good food, this restaurant is recommended. The lunch buffet includes drinks too. Fried chicken here is superb.

My wife and I booked the premier room in the resort with the expectation that the accommodations replicated what were shown in the website photos.
To our dismay, the premier room that was assigned to us was very disappointing. The location of our third floor room was beside the noisy exhaust fans of the restaurant kitchen below. The noise from the exhaust fans was annoying and emitted hot smelly air.
Next issue we experienced was the phone in the room not working so we had it replaced.
The door jamb to the bathroom was being eaten away by termites and the water pressure of the toilet was very weak.
The next day after our first night, we were compelled to ask the front office to offer us another premier room. The front office staff was able to move us to the ground floor with what appeared to be a better room.
Yet again, the tv in the room was not working. We could barely decipher anything from the tv screen. Once again, we requested the staff to fix the problem. We were advised that they don't have a spare tv to replace what came with the room. They offered to move us to another room, but we decided not to move again.
We wanted to share the negative experiences that we had with this resort hotel. This resort hotel needs a lot of serious renovation as it is old.
We do have some positive feedback and they are for the most part about the resort staff. They are very accommodating and very prompt to respond to our requests. The best experience that we had was with the LMJ Salon which is located inside the premises. Jelly, the hairstylist gave me the best haircut I've ever had. Zaldy, the buffet restaurant staff was exceptional in responding to our requests during our buffet breakfasts.

The water was barely running to take a shower very little water pressure. The bathroom was missing tiles and the caulking around the tube and sink was all moldy. Extremely noisy. TV was completely blurry asked 5 times to come and fix it, finally someone showed up looked at it and left, with no explanation or fixing it. The WiFi was horrible, did not connect and when it did, it would keep disconnecting. The lunch buffet was all cold, had the warmers underneath but not used. Nothing liked cold rice, vegetables and meat. The pictures showed on the website were nice to reserve the room, nothing like the pictures when we arrived. Not even worth while to take pictures inside. No beach chairs or umbrellas like the pictures show on their website. Definitely would not recommend this quote Resort! What a waste of money! Reserved 3 different rooms and they were all the same either on the 1st floor or 3rd floor. Way to much money for the rooms that need a lot of work. Extremely pissed off for the price. Should have known be the pictures on the website that it was a lie.
Paid way to much for the transportation to and from the airport to have to wait to get the van to take us to the hotel and then drop us off in an ally to walk to the hotel. Very unorganized at the port terminal no direction always telling us to wait your transportation will be here soon.

Here for a family vacation. Very disappointed from the pictures posted to represent this “resort”. Very misleading and misrepresentations of actual.
Towels with stains, bedsheets with stain-complained about them and advised they are old stains?
Toilet seat cover too small for the toilet, regular towels one each person, no hand towels for bath room- advised they don’t stock hand towels. Shower head handle does not stay in place. No separation between toilet and shower. No where to place luggage except the floor.
Nothing what expected by pictures or website. Stay somewhere else.

It was my family's 1st trip to Boracay and Bamboo Beach Hotel was really great place to stay.. reasonably priced and very accommodating staff. They provided us with a very efficient transfer services from the airport to the hotel and vice versa. Areas for improvement: bathroom light could be a bit brighter; more breakfast choices and free toiletries, bottled water and coffee inside the room. Otherwise it was a very memorable experience..Kudos to the Management and Staff of Bamboo Beach Hotel!

Follow up to my first review. Our toilet broke by morning, we had to move to another room. First room offered had water leaking on the floor. The next room was in no better shape than first. Very disappointing, grounds not well kept, construction work until 8pm. The only good thing - on the beach (not a beach view) and their breakfast included-but only one cup of coffee. Second for a few.

I am in a 2-week boracay vacation now but I spent my first few days here in this hotel (Oct 26 check-in date). If only I haven't prepaid the rest of my stay in the island (I am in a Henann hotel hopping tour), I will be staying the rest of my days here in Bamboo again.
The receptionist upgraded my room (R115) upon learning that I stayed in their hotel a few months back. He also allowed me to checkout late (without hesitations) since my check-in time on my next hotel at Henann Garden is at 3pm. This guy is an asset that might be a reason, tourist will keep on coming back.
Hotel is located infront of the shore. Though they don't have the facilities and amenities that other higher class hotels but they have the staff and location that has to be consider. Wait, did I write that my per night accomm won't hurt your pockets too? Thanks Bamboo!! See you again in a few months.

Worst experience ever! We arrive late, yet rooms not ready. To our surprise, they put us in the room facing the wall and it is located in 5th floor and there’s no elevator. Our room # is 411 and that is the only room in 5th floor without veranda and facing the wall of La Carmela. We keep on complaining because we stayed there for 3N/4D and there is no action. Breakfast is cheap as well. Highly not recommended. Sorry not sorry!
