This hotel is fantastic, but trying to make a reservation on their website is a disaster! They tell you the reservation is confirmed when you book However, in the very small print below their confirmation, they tell you that they will send you an email requesting payment. Failure to respond to this email will result in the booking (that has been confirmed by them!) being cancelled. When you try to re book directly with the hotel, the prices go up!!! Better to book through bookings.com, and the hotel has to pay them the commission. Bad booking policy by the hotel and not very professional service from the receptionist on the telephone. On one occasion when making a booking directly with this hotel the receptionist told me that she was too busy to talk with me and that I should call back later!!! The hotel itself is excellent, the facilities are great, and I will definitely stay again, but will book through bookings.com.

Not sure what happened to this hotel but it is not what it once was. Cafeteria not open until noon. No poolside drink services. No evening entertainment. Skeleton crew is running the hotel. They do the best they can but they desperately need help. It looks as if hotel ownership is cutting costs at the expense of the guests. Definitely not a 4 star hotel any more.

A pleasant, if uninspired, hotel on a very busy broad walk in an over-crowded Roses. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, while the rooms have had an ikea-inspired make-over. The main restaurant is vacuous and institutional, I felt as if I was in a 1970’s retirement home, complete with heavy institutional furnishings. The buffet is fair-priced, but very uninspired: we ate there for a few breakfasts and one evening, but wouldn’t recommend - fortunately there’s a good bar/restaurant overlooking the beach which is great, the staff are friendly and the food, while limited is good. The parking is difficult and the hotel receptionists unhelpful…we tried to book a place when booking the rooms, but were told they wasn’t possible…when we arrived, predictably, there were no spaces: when asked where we could park we were told to “drive around and look for public parking”! We found a space after about an hour. Neither would reception put us on any sort of list…we were told to come back the following day and hang around reception to see if a parking space became available! The attitude of the receptionist was that they couldn’t be bothered to be helpful, were fully booked so we didn’t care if you didn’t like their approach….I just can’t understand that mentality when it would be so easy to be helpful. Overall, I can’t recommend this hotel or Roses as a whole: Roses is stuck being what it is (a very crowded, high-rise strip), the hotel could change and improve, but I doubt it can be bothered.

The standard of the room is defiantly not for 4 stars: - The room is small, very little around 10-12 m2; - The room needs urgent renovation - new paint etc; - The room needs cleaning, it was very dirty with people’s hair everywhere, no more comments - just look at the pictures attached. We stayed in September 2020. Like everywhere on the cost because of COVID the hotel was almost empty. We asked for the sea view, but our request was declined cause “there was no availability”: in the empty hotel there are no available sea view rooms, seriously? So after all, for the price of 4 star hotel room (around 75 euros per night for law season) we’ve got a tiny super dirty room. I defiantly do not recommend this hotel.

We haven't had a chance to stay at the hotel. My bf, due to Corona, wasn't able to come. I've reached out to the hotel directly and they told me to contact Pierre & Vacances to change the name and possibly change the dates of the stay - none of the numbers on the website picked up, I wasted a good hour on hold. It's very unprofessional and I take into account that the lines might be busy, but being on hold for so long is simply unacceptable. I'd have at least expected to hear that you're not able to do anything than just being ignored. I've also messaged a few people on LinkedIn - heard nothing. Simply put, I have no interest in doing any business with Pierre & Vacances.
