We originally booked this holiday back in 2019, when Covid hit we chose to postpone, 3 times. We decided to change our booking from a Villa with bunks & 1 dble bed to one with 2 bedrooms/dble beds as we are adults & bunks are only comfortable for kids and the owner confirmed this. The Villa also had a full kitchen, not a kitchenette. When we arrived there was no one at reception, no one anywhere actually. The keys weren't even in a lock box so anyone could come and get them. No map to find our cabin I had to walk a bit to see which way the numbers went. After getting our luggage out of the car and opening the door we realized we'd been given a one bedroom with bunks & a double separated by a part wall/curtain. Not a Villa that we booked. When we spoke to one of the cleaners all she said was to call a number on the door. The lounge was filthy & we found cutlery in the drawer that was dirty, even though they are supposed to by extra vigilant because of Covid with their cleaning, we left a fork out with a note but no one bothered to get back to us. We were tired & had a tour booked so decided we'd stay put & complain to our travel agent. We didn't get back from our tour until 9pm & moving to another cabin in the morning would have defeated the purpose of unpacking the car for 2 nights. She was told we'd been put in an Executive Cabin that was better than the one we booked but then I was told it was a Queen Studio. Whichever it was it wasn't better because it wasn't what we booked. It didn't have the 2 separate bedrooms with dble beds or full kitchen that they confirmed with our travel agent 6 months ago & they didn't bother letting anyone know that they were changing the booking or that the reason it was changed was because of water damage. They have 3 of these cabins, no one else was in the park except 1 family in the cottage & 1 man in a small cabin so why they couldn't give us another cabin the same I don't know. I asked why we hadn't been contacted & she said she didn't owe us an explanation. The owner stated she simply doesn't care that the booking was changed & insinuated that I was stupid & that my niece & I were lovers. We have been made to feel like we have done something wrong when all they had to do was call us to see if it was alright that they change our booking. Then we could have made the decision as to whether we kept the booking or found somewhere else to stay. They decided taking our money was more important than our comfort. I'm glad they're no longer in business so that no one else has to try & deal with the people running that place. A simple apology was all we wanted, not a refund, but that hasn't been forthcoming. What the owner fails to realise is not everyone bothers complaining, they simply spread the word & never go back there. That's why I've shared what was said to me in other places amongst my friends.

Online the cost of the accommodation was $170 per night so I thought I would ring direct as I know the online costs are big for companies to then be told it was $200 per night and I told them the online price the reply was "I suppose I can do it for that price" .....Felt like I could have been ripped of if I didn't know what I was doing. No servicing of the cabin and still that price....Not Great Cabin was clean and had most things we needed

rooms were tiny in the cabin we stayed in, but was clean and sort of ok price. Good if you are only basing yourself here and not hanging around in the cabin too much. lady at reception was nice and spoke with us each time she saw us, playground is a new tramp and swing set that our kids loved. close to the beach, town centre and blowhole. Is next door to a petrol station but really who cares! if we could get a cabin with bigger rooms and bathroom for a decent price would stay again

We ..Like many others have absolutely nothing to do with trap advisor at all. They are not even a travel booking company . If you book you will be directed to someone other site and they they commission for that? Numerous times we have tried without success to remove our listing from this fictitious company that baits guests into believing that they are getting the best price. What a joke. keep the money in Australia and call the business directly and your dollars will not go overseas to these wolves. They allow reviews to be posted that do not belong to our business and when asked to remove they say " we have approved this review and see no reason to remove or edit it" Trip advisor please remove our listing as we do not want to deal with you or your insane practices.

Super neat and convenient cabin park in a great location. Has everything you need and is not too big so you don't feel crowded. Small play area for kids, neat bbq facilities and an onsite laundry. Friendly hosts to boot, you don't need anything more for a family trip away.
