Upon arrival reception was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and offer of a microwave. The motel was full when we stayed. Families seemed predominantly in the back cabins. The room we had was the smallest during our Tassie trip, again ok for a night. Not having a bedside table on my side was frustrating but we got by. My husband was disturbed by neighbours saying he could hear them sneeze (I wear earplugs), It didn’t seem far from the beach but it was cold and blustery when we stayed. It seemed clean enough and the bathroom was lovely, much nicer than expected.

Nice and cozy (and rather cheap!) motel in a traditional-style house. The location not far from the beach and the town's center is very convenient. The rooms are spacious and clean, the lady at the reception (and her husband) was always very friendly and helpful. Some things didn't work 100 % (heating, light in the bathroom,...), but overall we had a pleasant stay there.

We stayed here for two nights whilst on a tour of Tasmania. The check-in process was efficient upon arrival. Our twin room and bathroom was well-kept. It was possible to get a good night of sleep. Breakfast was left in our room for each morning, but was very simple (bread for toast and cereal) and wasn’t always fresh. Overall, this is a decent enough base for exploring town and the local area.

We were traveling down from Davenport by te Bay of Fire and needed a place to stopover enroute to hobart. Easy parking. Clean room n shower. Kettle, tea coffee provided. Good heater. Comfortable beds and pleasant Chinese speaking staff. Good for a stay.

Just stay here for one night stop, nothing special here and the garden is small...... It's location near the penguin watch area and blowhole. The staff are busy, always not around. You need to ring them, only they will appear.
