Very lovely and comfortable rooms. Good showers and toilet. The location is as good as you can get, right near the main shops, and across the road from the water. Most importantly, the staff were so lovely and accommodating. We had to isolate whilst waiting for a COVID test result and they were more than happy to book us an extra night and get us anything we needed from the shops if needed. We are so grateful for their help!!

This older style Guest House and Motel is in the process of being renovated, but it is open for business. I have stayed in a few other places as I come to Kangaroo Island regularly for work. I have found them over-priced for what they offer. This is a pleasant motel which is small and friendly, welcoming without being overly busy, and is in a great spot, right on the Esplanade and walking distance to the Main Street. It is also opposite the Tidal Pool for a swim on a hot day. Great for solo, couple or family.

Had visited Kangaroo Island 40 years earlier and wanted to see how it survived the devastatng bushfires, booked the Seaview Motel with direct bay views and excellent service. Friendly service and helpful advise, clean rooms and quiet.

Very welcoming host, clean room, good view, close walk to everything in Kingscote, dated room, noisy airconditioner, bad wifi. Overall good and would stay at again of coming to Kingscote. Would recommend for families and couples on a budget (we were able to get a reasonably good deal with SeaLink).

I am giving this place 5 stars as I have nothing to complain about at all. The staff was very helpful. They told us where to go and when, as there was a fire going on on the kangaroo island, and many roads we about to get closed. So, we did exactly what we were told and it ended up being a great time, just before they closed the roads! Also, when we were going to the beach, they were kind enough to provide towels for the beach. Free parking for the car is also available. WiFi was non-existant in the room 9 facing the yard, but we lived with that.
