This hotel exceeded all our expectations. The room was spacious, light and bright, clean, tidy, central to everything in town. Our car was parked at the door in a security car park. The rate included an excellent continental breakfast and the seafood platter dinner in the nearby hotel bistro was delicious as we looked out the window to the setting sun over the jetty. The staff were pleasant and efficient. A wonderful experience for a few days enjoying the west.

I did have a standard room which I thought was fine. Sure.!- a little out dated, howeve clean, and quite big. It was very hot, and the air con was great, and I used the laundry which has both washers and dryer in house and a clothes line. It is gated, with card to open only for your piece of mind regarding security. The venue attached is beautiful. Cold drinks great staff, and after attending dinner, I cannot recommend the place higher once again. Great value for money on all accounts. Highly recommended!

Standard rooms are very old fashioned - don’t choose this option even for only one night. Cleanness is another weak point. Food in the restaurant was delicious but very small portions! We tried the seafood hot pot, which was an entré sized but sold as a pricey main! :( But let’s see the positive side, location is great, jetty and the shore is nice.

One of the two great hotels on Eyre Peninsula, the other being the Streaky Bay Hotel. The deluxe rooms with balcony facing the sea are world class. Service, cleanliness, luxury are peerless. It's a top hotel.
