Our 2 bedroom apartment (and a 1 bedroom apartment we saw) had the worst amount of dust in the bedrooms I have ever seen in hotel/apartment accommodation. There was a thick layer of grey dust around the edge of the carpet (about 5cm wide), on the skirting boards, the window ledge and the back of the TVs hanging from the walls in the bedrooms. I had to clean the skirting boards and the back of the TV. I also had to wipe over the bedhead as that was dusty. I couldn't move the beds but I hate to think what I would have found behind them. I had to call housekeeping to vacuum the carpet edges as there was no vacuum cleaner in the apartment (it still didn't really get rid of all the dust around the edge of the carpet). The common area outside our apartment was also filthy with carpets that weren't vacuumed the entire time we were there (5 days). Though there were many good things about these apartments the amount of dust around the beds was so bad I cannot give this place a higher rating. Their housekeeping really need to properly clean and vacuum the bedrooms. …
Arriving at the apartments reception the check in was quick and easy. Our apartment was very clean and spacious with all the amenities available. Location was excellent with a few minutes walk to Chatswood Interchange and Woolworths. Also Chatswood Westfield is just a short stroll away.
Worst and terrible service ! Very disappointed with front desk customer service ! We pay money for service and accommodation , not to see your arrogant customer service front desk. Pls inform us nicely when check out time during check in , and pls show respect to us! No toiletries , no cooking pan , no enough bowl and the oven is so dirty unhygienic Aircon is set timing , every hour need to adjust, it is so hot ! Other than location , I definitely won’t recommend for staying and seeing the front desk lady face !
Extremely helpful staff. Excellent suite with great views. Well presented and clean. Great proximity to shopping and restaurants. No issues with parking despite having a 4x4 with lift kit and roof racks.
I have stayed here before and the rooms have always been fine. However, this time I got put in a terrible room on the lowest floor. The bedroom was small, had zero windows, and felt like living in a dark dank cave. The living area did have widows and a balcony, but the bird sh-t all over the outside funiture and balcony made this area un-usable. Even the curtains and blinds to the balcony had residual bird sh-t on them. The Meriton really shoudn't allow any of their guests to be put up in this particular room, or other rooms where the bedrooms have zero outside light, or sell rooms being used as a toilet by the incontinent local wildlife.
I stayed at the Meriton Chatswood for over a month on my return to Australia whilst waiting for the shipment of my personal belongings to arrive from overseas. I would highly recommend Meriton Chatswood for a long term stay. The rates are quite good if you book well in advance. However, if you leave it to the last few weeks or month before your stay, then you will be paying at “dynamic pricing” rates. The views from the higher apartments are picturesque - you can see Sydney city, North Head and all the surrounds. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need. For example, they can even supply you with a rice cooker if you need one. Just ask, the staff are very helpful. The Chatswood train and Metro interchange is just less than 5 minutes away as are a variety of restaurants and 2 major shopping centres ~ Westfield and Chatswood Chase.…
Excellent all around. Rooms were lovely, service exceptional. Conveniently located near food, drinks, entertainment and transport. View was lovely also. We were in a three-room suite on the top floor. The common area had all the necessary ameneties, and the ensuite was a nice touch, meaning we didn't have to climb up and down stairs to access a bathroom. The beds were plush, view great, air con and tv access superb. The service was also exceptional; thank you Harrison for greeting us and getting us checked in.
Staff friendly and helpful! Concierge is professional and very responsive. Timely replenishing of amenities and weekly room cleaning really help to make our stay enjoyable (we are staying for six months).
The view of room was good. Had a separate bedroom, chromcast supported TV. However, the cleanliness was not so good, and there was a bad smell when I first entered. The cutlery provided was not so clean, Water leaks in the sink.
excellent Hotel, very big room with all stuff you need, the room was big with a nice view. the staff was very helpful, close to the rail station, very close to all restaurant and super markets. Thank you, I was very enjoy from my staying.
