Positives - Room was a decent size (Standard queen room) with a small table and chairs and kitchenette. Room was clean and affordable. Negatives - Bathroom sliding door was broken and would not close. Bedside light broken. Shower did not have any water pressure - more of a dribble than a shower. No wi-fi reception in the room. "Heated" pool was cold and needed a clean. Pillows were hard and thin. According to the hotel website breakfast is available but we were told that breakfast is not available. When I mentioned some of these issues to the lady in reception she was not interested and said that the people in our room before us had not complained so everything must be OK.

Well located and clean premise. Tiny rooms but that’s ok. Close to the wineries without having to pay inflated wine-country prices. Fast food eateries opposite motel, pub down the road and Coles supermarket short walk away. Only downside is the poor wifi reception and the low water pressure of the shower.

First time here snd I was very impressed. The rim was a good size, bed very comfortable, bathroom clean, plenty of space with everything one would need. There are a few fast food dining options just across the street and plenty of restaurants a 5 minute drive way in Cessnock/ The reception staff were efficient at check in and check out and the room was always tidy whenever I came back from my local travels. Pool on premises. Great for families. I would thoroughly recommend this motel.

Fantastic little motel which was very clean & well maintained. Rooms are on the smaller side but nice decor. Man at reception was very friendly & had a good knowledge of the area. A parking space per unit which is a bonus. I would recommend this hotel to families

We arrived today at 12pm and we were able to check into our room straight away. We are staying in the family room, 1 queen and 2 singles. Fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. The place is absolutely immaculate and plenty of room. Across the road is oportos and McDonald’s, IGA and Woolworths 10 mins walk away. It’s literally a 10 min drive to Hope estate. I’m so happy I chose this hotel it’s perfect distance to everything and the staff are friendly. Will definitely stay again and recommend this to anyone coming to the hunter.

Went to Hunter Valley for overnight stay over the long weekend. The place is immaculately clean, located across fastfood and cbd. This motel is a tiny gem in Cessnock. I was impressed on how they maintained the cleanliness of the rooms especialy the bathroom. Friendly owners & reception people.

Motel is clean and comfortable, lovely service, very close to Maccas, Zambreros, and other fast food. 5 mins walk to main street. Very handy to Ballons Aloft if you're booked for a flight. It's only five mins drive to the meeting place.

I came with my family and reserved two rooms. The place has the necessary to stay a couple nights. The owner was very kind to accommodate our extra needs. The towels are very clean. They look new. The shower has perfect temperature. Enough parking even though the motel was full during the January break. Good value for money.

We travelled to Cessnock to check out wedding venues for our daughter. It is approximately 9kms from the vineyards. We had room 12 (located at back). Unlike other reviews, we didn't find the motel noisy from street traffic at all. We indulged in their clean pool due to the weather being 40 degrees that day. I found the room extremely clean and tidy. The bathroom was immaculate. Showerhead could be better, but it did it's job. I had to adjust the fridge as it didn't seem cold enough. I would say all rooms have been updated within the last 2-3 years. It was fresh, clean and modern. The outside is also clean and tidy. It's location to Cessnock is excellent with takeaways and restaurants in close proximity (walking distance). I cannot comment on the staff as I wasn't involved in the checking in/checking out process. I did receive a call from them the day before our arrival to confirm our check in time. He seemed pleasant enough when speaking with him. I would totally recommend this motel for short stays.
