Stayed 2 nights with a large group. Hospitality demonstrated by Anthony & Ellie was AMAZING, I've frequented many 5 star hotels / resorts which could learn a thing or 2 from this hospitality team!! Clean rooms, comt bed and fantastic on-site facilities which will only get better in time! Upgrading pool area to included a shaded area for groups to have good yarn and a beer whilst enjoying the fire pit or cool swim in the pool. Highly recommended and we will be back to share a beer with the Ellie & Anthony!

We stayed for one night only at Cessnock Vintage Motor Inn. The rooms were clean and basic with all the main necessities. Upon our arrival at approx 1pm there was no reception to get organised to check in although we were not due to check in until 2pm anyway. The location was great for us as we were watching some live music in town this night and it was an easy and close walk into town. Parking available for outside the room - if downstairs. Bed was comfortable and the pricing was reasonable. The shower had enough water pressure and provision of hygiene items was given. We did not have much to do with the staff as we only got to see someone upon check in however the dealing was lovely. No one in the office on departure but there is the option to leave key in locked box on the wall.

The Motor Inn is a most comfotable and affordable place for visiting the famous Hunter Valley which is only a few kilometers away. It is close to town shops and restaurants. As well, the hosts are interested in the history of the area and are currently beautifying the place with new gardens. A delightful alternative to the more costly accommodation in the centre of the valley. Highly recommended.

Stayed Sat night after attending red hot summer concert. Friendly helpful staff. Dont let outside looks deter you. Clean and quiet. Good value. Comfy bed and biscuits You can see new owners are in process of upgrading. Help them out and book a room during these tough tourism times. We booked again for Nov 20. James Blunt. 3.5 stars.

Looks can be somtimes deceiving. At first glance a “ nothing out of the ordinary”. If your after a pleasant stay while you go to the concerts at the Estate venues this is it . Perfect location to catch the bus ( it starts from right outside the door so no waiting in the street) Close to pubs and the bowling club for a good feed. Take a walk round town to get the feel for a classic small country town . Thanks guys see you soon

My father and I stayed here for the last 3 nights and we had a lovely time. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. Parking was no problem and we were fortunate enough to be able to use the laundry, which was interesting. The lady at reception was really helpful and friendly and her little kitty Lily was always up for a cuddle. The only thing i could fault was the internet connection (better outside the rooms) and that the room was a little dark. But i would definitely stay here again. Oh, there's a cafe across the road, Jens' in the East. Brilliant food, enormous portions .. order "the works" burger at your peril .. it's gigantic!

Place was not easy to find as entrance was in side street. Advertising was broken an vegetation covered wall sign. Room was clean and tidy but dated and although advertised the bed had no electric blanket. The electric jug in our room did not work so could not have an evening cuppa had to wait until office opened in the morning There was a client kitchen very outdated and the toasters only one side of the element worked so the toast had to be turned Parking not marked and pine trees placement means parking spaces are lost

Needed a moderately priced motel for one night to attend a function in the Hunter. The Vintage Motor Inn is in a great location, the rooms are large and comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommended.

I had an overnight stay here to attend a wedding in the area therefore I did not spent too much time in the room. The room was basic but clean and comfortable and I enjoyed a quite nights sleep. I would have no hesitation in staying here again if I needed to stay overnight in Cessnock
