Camped here for Easter weekend April 2023 with the hubby. Great facilities in the campsite like the toilets and restaurant. The campsite we chose has available electricity. Infinity pool is not that big but definitely has a great view of the lake. We will book a room next time we come back. April can still a bit hot and humid. Fortunately for us, we brought a fan. We saw other campers dreading the heat of the night because they didn’t have fans.

Reception were busy on our arrival but I don’t think that’s an excuse for the staff to be abrupt and short with visitors to the “Resort” who are paying top money for a cramped caravan site The amenities blocks were cleaned daily, but they just could not stand up to the daily use by the large amount of people staying in the caravan park. The only solution would be to clean the amenities more frequently. I found the photos of the infinity pool to be somewhat misleading. It is much smaller than I and others in our group expected. The “classic spot” to have your photo in the affinity pool taken was often hogged by others. And, visitors were complaining about how cold the pool water is. We all wondered why it wasn't heated given the cost of accommodation and it calls itself a "Resort". There were issues with the behaviour of adults and children at the pool. Despite the signs saying no bombing etc adults encouraged their children to run along the pools edge and bomb the water, Sometimes they even filmed them. I noticed that some Visitors moved away to avoid being filmed. It was an invasion of their privacy. And most days, due to there being only a very small grassed area next to the Pool, visitors struggled to find somewhere to sit. I saw one small toddler wander off from its parents, who were busy taking selfies just outside the infinity pool enclosure, with the lake as a backdrop for their photo. The child wandered off to the area where the reticulated water runs along a channel on the outside wall of the pool and was playing in it near the pump system. The Parents were oblivious to the whereabouts of their child and the dangerous situation it was in. Dogs were tied up to the outside of the infinity pool and left unattended while the owners went for a dip. And on one occasion a man had his dog inside the enclosure while he went for a dip. I really think the pool area needs a full-time lifeguard and supervisor to manage all of the above behaviours. Noise after quiet time in the park was common while people played music and spoke loudly. A daily text to visitors reminding them of the Rules may have been helpful. I was walking my own dog on its lead in the Caravan Park and a staff workers cattle dog charged at my Dog and the staff members simply laughed and continued to play with a young cattle dog puppy they had with them. Visitors are required to keep their Dogs on a lead and under control, yet Staff didnt. The problem with this “Resort” is Management simply doesn't manage it as it should be managed. it is definitely worth visiting to see Lake Argyle, but I would not recommend it for more than a day or two due to the expense but mostly because Management do not address the problems resulting in many unhappy campers.

This caravan park was an absolute dream. The communal facilities were so clean and well kept, the restaurant and food were excellent, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our booking, and the location is unbeatable. Would love to stay again and couldn’t recommend more highly. Best quality caravan park I’ve ever stayed in

Unhelpful staff at reception, on multiple occasions, snippy. No help for any requests or concerns. I If you need shade make sure you ask for it. We were stuck on the oval and not a single tree in sight on the right hand side, the camps above look down into yours so no privacy. Overall overpriced, no discounts for rubbish sites. Poorly marked sites caused constant confusion with everyone. At the prices charged surely they could mark out the sites clearly. Pool was nice an cool view was lovely but overall another overpriced discovery park

Nice park except for the bats that come into the trees at night. They are smelly, noisy and worst of all they make a massive mess of the top of your caravan and annexe. You need to clean each morning so the green poo doesn't leave stain marks. The sunset cruise is great. Bit expensive for sites.
