Not everyday do you find quality accommodation alongside 5 star Hospitality. This is what we found at Chelsea Park Motor Lodge. It was a pleasure in every aspect. We were most pleasantly surprised for such well appointed suites to welcome our dog. We normally travel using Air BNB, how surprised we were to have the "Top Host" experience in a Motel. 2 bedroom unit was spacious and well appointed . Beds were comfortable, though could do with a refresh soon. Bathroom roomy, but stepping into bath would be a problem for elderly persons. Small balcony, but did have a view over neighbouring gardens and hills to South. Only real issue was parking which was a bit tight at the end of the building - required a few multi-point turns to navagate.

Thanks for taking the time to review your stay with us, we really appreciate the feedback. We are in the process of upgrading the beds and have made some good progress this year, just a few more to go now :) All of our units that have baths have a non slip bath mat provided in each bathroom vanity cupboard if required. Our studio units have corner shower cubicles and we also have a couple of disability access units that are equipped with 'wet room' bathrooms where the showers have fold down seats and hand rails. We hope to have units suitable to cater most needs. Appreciate parking can feel a little snug at times, particularly when we are fully booked. We have one space per unit, sometimes reversing into the parking space when possible makes it easier. Thanks for staying with us and the feedback, it's very useful :)

Very clean tidy well equipped comfortable motel unit. Good parking and very quiet. Walking distance to city. Friendly very informative motel owner. We would definitely recommend this motel and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Stayed here at the end of our South Island tour. Travelled with our young dog and they were very accommodating. Was great to finish the trip with the spa room, as the spa was huge!!!!! Very clean and even allowed a free late check out. Short 5 minute stroll into Nelson CBD. Would highly recommend. Thanks.

A great location and friendly staff made the stay in Nelson memorable. Walking distance to town and the weekend markets but quiet enough to enjoy that special time away. A must for any style of trip to Nelson. Great information in the reception for things to do while visiting.
