We stayed here for 2 nights in April 2007. The only blip was that we were allocated a double bed (me and my son, 10, were travelling) but they did offer to put a camp bed in the living room. We declined this and it all turned out ok. The reception were really helpful, maps, directions, recommended restuarants. Nothing was too much trouble. Even to the extent that the cars in the car park were scraped of morning dew before we departed for our days adventures!! A really good stay and from what I could see there were different types of accomodation available. Well worth a stay.

We arrived and received a warm welcome, maps, and answers to all our questions, i.e. restaurants, sights to see and shops of interest. The room was perfect with comfortable bed, excellent kitchen facilities and large bathroom. Small rear patio was ideal for light meals and roses in the garden added to the ambiance. Long or short stay you will feel at home.

I stayed at the Chelsea Park with friends for the weekend, booking the 2 bedroom unit. Fast friendly emails from the staff let us know that the double bed could be split into 2 beds should that be required, and that a fold out bed could also be supplied. When we arrived we found the motel was very close to Trafalgar St (restaurants/shops/etc) a 5 minute easy walk away. The accommodation was very, very good. Modern, quiet and smokefree, it was very clean and well appointment with good heating, clear TV reception and lots of information about Chelsea Park and Nelson in the room. It was quiet and the management were freely available to take inquiries and look after our bags before we departed. There are a lot of much bigger hotels claiming that they offer luxury accommodation…
