Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The apartments are very spacious - much larger than expected and ideal for a business trip or family holiday. The property is really well located in town so walking distance to all restaurants, cafes and services. However it is surrounded by forest so you feel nature all around and would not know you are staying in town. The apartments have free parking close to the door and the fit-out is all you could wish for. This is a very well run property as Management have thought of every detail. Very friendly staff and easy check in. You want for nothing . The cleaning is top notch and there are lovely touches throughout the apartment. The dining and lounge area are downstairs and very spacious. Sleeping arrangements are away from the lounge and kitchen - bedrooms upstairs (my apartment could sleep a couple and 3 extra single) and there is a toilet upstairs and downstairs. bathroom is upstairs and downstairs has a laundry so all conveniences one needs when travelling. My Queen bed was really comfortable with great pillows and luxury linen. I was very impressed with the accommodation and would easily rate it as one of the best in town. Highly recommend to holiday or business travellers. This property is a gem!

I stayed in an accessible downstairs studio apt as I have knee problems and wouldn't have been able to climb the steps in the majority of apts on site (which are 2 storeys). It was a bonus to be able to have a walk-in shower in the very large bathroom. Keep the shower head angled towards the wall a bit so water does not go everywhere. Small issue: shower caddy could do with replacement. Kitchen is well-equipped and fridge is a good size and has a freezer. I could park right in front of apt in a disabled persons bay. Although located somewhat close to roadside near Bussell Hwy, I could not hear traffic really until the morn when some trucks start moving. Not a real problem though. Great block out curtains very effective too. Many places skimp on this. Nice atmosphere being situated near forest.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment. It had a new, modern feel to it and was thoughtfully furnished. Everything we needed was there, from a dustpan and broom, and a giant clothes airer to a French press for coffee. The bedding was comfortable, the kitchen and living area was very nice, the little courtyard felt private. I liked the layout of the bathroom and toilet in the main bedroom. The decor was lovely and stylish.
There is a supermarket right across the road, in fact the main shopping precinct is right across the road - this easy access to amenities is perfect for us. We're glampers not campers so we like to be able to visit shops each day to stock up before we head out into the wild. This apartment came with free parking, so overall it was great value.
My husband and I are fifo workers from SA, so have been staying in WA for most of the last two years due to border restrictions, so everywhere we spend our breaks is our home for that time. We loved Margaret Forest so much we booked another weekend stay for our next break. PS. the staff were very friendly on check in /out 😊

We had 3 x 2 bedroom units for a family wedding and it was outstanding. The weather was amazing so we were able to enjoy the beautiful outdoor decking and BBQ while sitting under the gum trees with kookaburras and various wildlife. It was truly amazing. We also enjoyed the spacious indoor living area and comfortable facilities. The kitchen was fitted out with all the mod cons which included a dishwasher which meant we had time off :) We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend break. As a lower limb amputee, I was really impressed with the layout of the room and the bathroom. It is very spacious. There’s disabled parking literally outside of your door. The location is central to everything you need within walking (wheelchair) distance. The only improvement I would recommend to management is for a small threshold ramp (internal and external) at both the front door lip and the sliding door lip, as this makes accessibility difficult for those in electric wheelchairs. Other than that, I am so looking forward to my next visit.

Located on the main street as you enter town from Freemantle. Very modern, stylish, a spa bath in each upstairs bedroom. What a find! A fully equipped kitchen, dining and living room downstairs with sliding doors opening onto a deck, with gas bbq facilities facing the forest and walking trail. Our stay was too short. We ate out because everything was a short walk away and it was a holiday, after all. We'll be back for sure. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was blissfully quiet at night with the bedroom balcony door open. I repeat, WOW!

From the warm welcome to the excellent facilities we really enjoyed our 4 night stay. The accomodation was spacious with very comfty beds and had eveything you needed. I booked direct and got a great rate for our Studio Spa room. Perfect place to stay in the heart of Margaret River,so after a day of exploring we could walk out for a meal & drink or simply enjoy a meal in the room. Great base for us with our bicycles close to lots of trails. Room had everything required for a short or extended stay in Margaret river. Loved the comfortable king size bed. For a couple this is the perfect place to stay.

Everything about this place makes it the first choice when we travel to MR as a couple. Set in beautiful lush gardens with a tranquil feel. Quality, spotlessly clean and all the amenities including a dishwasher. We stayed in Room 106, a one bedroom that also has a washer and dryer. A massive King size bed with quality linen and comfortable pillows. Right across from the Dome for breakfast, and a very short stroll up the main street to the Pubs and everything else. You will not be disappointed.

Got the forest view spa room - could not fault, great location with the convenience of being walking distance to everything in town whilst still backing on to a nice patch of bush/forest to give you that feel of connection with nature. Front desk staff were extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Hi Lynn, Sorry I missed your second question. Yes there are pedestal fans in the wardrobes for you to use. But the bedrooms are located downstairs and as heat rises, we find that keeping upstairs cool also keeps downstairs cool. And you can open the window for airflow also. In our experience, we don't get any reports that the bedrooms are too warm. Only in Winter we recommend you use the Electric Blankets and Oilheaters as it can get cold overnight. Hi, we stayed in the studio apartment above reception. It had two bedrooms, in the second bedroom you can choose your bed configuration ie: king bed or two singles to accomodate the kids. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 young kids. Enjoy your stay in Margaret River... it’s beautiful

Thank you for your enquiry about leavers. Our Hotel Policy is that all Leavers need to be accompanied by at least one parent who is accepting responsibility for the group. We are a four star family friendly property, which means most of our guest travel with young children, so we do have a no noise after 10am policy. Hope this answers any questions you may have.
