- Located a few kms out of Geraldton, fairly quiet and away from main highway - Tried to book 'online' without success. - Eventually made booking by phone with a very rude 'Jason' ... not very customer friendly ! - Checkin agent had absolutely no idea what to do - So-called drivethru sites are ridiculously set up and difficult to access and egress - Vans packed in like sardines - Amenities block is tired and worn out, needs a proper clean and refurbishment - Told to empty caravan grey-water "onto the ground" ... very unhygienic ! - Rear of park has a dozen or so run-down buildings that could only be described as 'humpies', rubbish everywhere, children running amok, look to be inhabited by 'druggies' .... - Off lead dog area at back of park is unfenced, numerous 'mongrels' wandering park unrestrained - Large number of rabbits invade the park after dark, rabbit holes everywhere

We stay at the EV4 chalet that sleeps 6 people, the place is clean and had extra pillows & blankets for cold nights. The community toilets and shower were close by where we can use, whilst our toilet was being used. Jason and his care taker was amazing & prompted when we needed lights bulb changed. Location- close to lots of beaches and to the city.

This is a nice, clean & quiet Caravan Park, owners & staff are lovely & helpful. Normally this is the type of caravan park we like. It's a bit off-putting to have to read a list of rules & agree to them when checking in. Made us very nervous about doing anything that might be deemed to be a breech of rules. ie, no smoking around children (a bit hard when they're running around & even entering your fully enclosed annex). Another one was cleaning up after your dog, having it under full control, etc, etc. This is something that I'm fully aware of & didn't have a problem with, but when you see at least 3 other dogs off lead wandering around the park it's really annoying! These dogs pooped wherever they wanted & as their owners were nowhere in sight, there was no picking up done. There is an off lead area for the dogs at the back of the property, but it is not fully enclosed. People were obviously taking their dogs up there to poop so that they didn't have to clean up after them. The area also has 3 corner jacks growing in it - not very comfortable in patches. The kitchen is not very well set out - no benches on the sides of the sinks, made it very difficult to do the dishes. also the hot water is not hot. I personally wouldn't use the pool as it felt like you were in someone's backyard. The showers were clean but made for smaller people than us. They are 1600 high & can't be made any higher. This resulting in me doing some weird kind of limbo to get my hair washed. Had sore thighs & back after my first shower. The second time I tried kneeling in the shower, but that didn't really work either as the water pressure is rubbish & I couldn't rinse my hair properly - back to the limbo. Hubby ended up with a sore back too. Prices were good, people were nice, site was decent, but we probably wouldn't go back there.
