Pleasant reception from family run business when we arrived at dinner time. Appreciated the upgrade. Cute retro feel with clean, updated facilities inside. Also appreciated the kindness & ease of the owners to send garments that were left behind. All added to great service we had in Mt Isa!
First you need to know that this is an older style traditional motel that has been nicely renovated. Rooms are a good size. Bed was comfy and carpet was brand new. There is a full size fridge and all cabinets are new. There's a microwave, toaster and iron in the room. The room was very clean and well maintained. Reception staff were super friendly and helpful too. There's an outdoor bbq area and kitchen if you wanted to cook your own food or to entertain. Great value and would stay again. Just be aware it's not brand new.
Booked on a chance the it would be a good place to stay and yes yes I was very much Wright from the moment we got here we where made very welcome very cleen just look over the road at the mine but don't iet that but yay off
Don't let first appearances fool you. While the building looks to be a bit dated on the outside the rooms are very well maintained and up to date. The beds were very comfortable and all electrical items were in excellent working condition. A full size fridge with freezer is allways a welcome sight in such a hot climate as it is so much more useful than a mini bar fridge. Debbie was a very helpful host who ensured we were setup with everything we needed including free wifi (the only accommodation
Like others have stated, this motel is worth staying at even though the front looks a bit dated. The rooms are clean, relatively large and have many mod cons that other motels don't have. There is a normal size fridge, microwave and cutlery The price is great and we would definatley stay here again. The owner is really helpful and goes out of her way to make the stay as comfortable as possible, even providing fresh towels after having a swim.
