Peaceful, relaxing, gorgeous, friendly, stress free and out of this world beautiful. My family and I celebrated my mum's 93 birthday together at the TARA lodge and couldn't have asked for a better time.. We made friends, with ducks, horses (up at our front door) wallaby's, birds and the friendliest people. We will be back. LOVED IT
We had a great weekend staying in the chapel. Kitchen had everything we needed plus more. Spa was great, we read reviews that it was noisy when the heater kicked in over night but we didn’t notice at all. Dom and nick were great and super friendly. We ended up buying a couple of beers from reception and kicking back in the sun on the balcony. There was plenty to do, but we were happy just relaxing and enjoying our get away. I will 100% be back!
Highly recommend. Superb facilities extremely clean. Perfect location for a relaxing getaway. Staff very helpful. We stayed in the Summer House which had a private spa and tennis court. Beautiful location and wildlife.
We were given a weekend away to this beautiful place for our wedding anniversary from our children. We basked in the wintery sun and totally unwound in this peaceful setting. Dom and Nick were wonderful hosts who worked with our children to give us many lovely suprises. We enjoyed many treats and massages. The best of all was the amazing seafood playter brought in by Dom from the Foster co op. Thank you very much! The house was beautifully clean and prepared on our arrival with everything we could have hoped for! The spa on the back deck was private and a perfect way to watch the sun set! And chopped wood ready for our fire place. Just to name a few! We would love to come back again!
Came here with my husband for a two night getaway , looking for something quiet and private rather than a resort style hotel. As we came mid week it fit the bill perfectly as we think we may have been the only guests here at the time, at least that is the illusion we were under staying in the Chapel. Bought all our food with us so there was no need to leave the place which is exactly what we intended. Roamed around the complex, walked down the deserted road and off into a few bush tracks, watched birds, some distant roos, enjoyed some wine laid on the grass and star gazed. No internet, didn't switch on a mobile phone or tv. Exactly what's needed to recharge the batteries. Couldn't quite master the oven , but the microwave sufficed, and the BBQ on the veranda did the trick.…
