A very pleasant stay .My partner and I were in the Hunter for a wedding . The room was nice and the surrounding gardens beautiful. Breakfast was perfect with lots of variety and home cooked fruits, pastries and savoury items. I would stay there again!

Thistle Hill Guest House is terrific, we stayed in the "Cottage"" which has 2 double bedrooms and a beautiful country feel lounge/kitchen, the log fire kept the rooms comfortable all weekend, and the breakfast supplied was excellent

Thistle Hill was the most perfect stay for my partner and I. Tory and Ian were extremely accommodating and were always offering to help with our every need. Complimentary cheese platters, wine, fortified wines and treats were left when we returned to our rooms, really made us feel special. Beautiful stay (the included breakfast was superb) can’t wait to return hopefully some time soon.

Thistle Hill Guest house was the ideal home away from home for our long weekend stay in the Hunter Valley with our 19 month old toddler. We were impressed by the picturesque estate, the provision of a cot, the abundant storage options in the room, and the delicious breakfast banquet using local ingredients. Our room was warm and cosy and bed so comfortable. Everyone went above and beyond in your hospitality. Thank you Jo & Jo and all the staff at Thistle Hill! We can't wait to stay with you again.

I loved Thistle Hill so much I am already planning on booking again this year . You are well looked after and the breakfast was delicious, the afternoon tea as well as the fire pit and bright shiny stars.. location is great so much on the same road.
