The pizza and charcuterie board were delicious. The venue is absolutely stunning, with fantastic views, I was blown away.Highly recommend everyone to stop in for something to eat. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating. They are open 7days a week which is great as not alot of places are open 7days in the Hunter

Been here several times always good service and atmosphere - food was excellent and beautifully presented with wonderful wines. Bought a few to take home! Excellent day! This restaurant is consistently good and well worth a visit - especially for a long lunch

A lovely way to spend some time with my daughter…introducing her to the varieties of wine (and gin). Great tasting venue with an easy access to the casual dining area outside. A wide range of growers and select wines to taste. Tasting fee charged but some personal service provided by friendly staff. Yes - walked out with several bottles to enjoy at a later date. Casual dining pizzas smelled wonderful, however Esca restaurant menu bit too fancy for my tribe.

I really like the location of the restaurant and outdoor area of the pizzeria, with very nice views over the wineries and we really enjoyed some of the wines that we tasted. However the pizzas are just a huge disappointments. Basically the pizza bases, if we wanna called them so, are all pre cooked. So not sure what is the point of having a wood fire oven if is really just used to melt the cheese or cook the very below average toppings that they put on top. This is definitely not what you expect when you are being charged $20 or more for a pizza.

We came here for a wine tasting as a part of a tour and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. 1/3 of the way through our guide left us and a poor young boy was left to try and serve us and the rest of the floor. We were left waiting for the next wine. Would not recommend will not be back. 2 stars because the driveway was the highlight.

We may have just been lucky but a beautiful day, great wood fire pizza, Parmesan, rocket and pear salad, bottle of Tempranillo rose under the shade of gorgeous twisted vines looking out into the beautiful Hunter valley and mountain ranges beyond. Couldn’t ask for more - keep doing what your doing Bimbadgen !

We last came to Bimbadgen 17 years ago. Since then the winery has really extended in to italian style grapes and sparkling wine varieties. We had great wood fired pizzas ( delicious but slightly salty beware). A big shout out to Laura ( the Colombian born hostess running the wine tasting). She was really friendly and helpful. The views from the terrace for lunch over the Broken back range was fantastic. It did not disappoint.

Bimbadgen is situated up on a hill affording a lovely view. Wine tasting was sitting at the bar, very agreeable wines with just enough information about each one. Although we didn't eat, the outdoor terrace where pizzas could be ordered, looked lovely. Up stairs, with even better views, is their more upmarket restaurant.

Wow! We had booked the Homestead for a 2 night weekend for 4 ladies. The Homestead is not a recently renovated property but is very spacious, clean and very well appointed( including Netflix). The breakfast provisions were very generous and included a coffee pod machine and pods. It is a lot bigger than the photos suggest. There are 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, unfortunately the fire place didn’t work well but staff responded when made aware of the situation. There were gas heaters and air conditioners. We booked a premium tasting experience which was worth it. We enjoyed the wines and Caitlin was wonderful, she obviously knew her wines and looked after us all afternoon. We enjoyed pizzas in the garden, Caitlin made sure we had somewhere dry to sit and a heater to use. The grounds are really lovely. Being able to walk from the Homestead to the winery/pizza garden was a bonus. Overall the experience was so good I have already made enquiries for next time. If you have a large group you would enjoy the homestead and cottage so you would have 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
