Restaurant. Disaster. No such thing as varying the menu to have grilled, fried or crumbed fish. We asked how many grilled prawns were in the entree serving and were told 2. For $28. We gulped and ordered them as the main course. They eventually came - as entree size. That waitress blamed another. We sent them back for the main course size we had ordered. They eventually came back with a different waitress. The same entree size plates. She blamed the other waitress. We gave up and had those. Two bites to a prawn = $7 per mouthful. And they were ok but not fabulous. Don't go.

Hotel's Favorite
With my 93 yr old mum I stayed in a twin room (queen plus single bed) and a bathroom suitably fitted with handrails. There was sufficient space, even for a wheelchair and walking frame. Everything was clean, tidy, well stocked. Views from the balcony overlooking Newcastle Beach was mesmerising! Spent many hours just people watching, at sunrise to sunset, even hang gliders....wonderful :). Having parking at the hotel was a bonus, as parking is very limited near the beach. Great location, close to cafes, restaurants, shops etc..

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Noah’s. The best part of our stay was the view from our hotel room. Many thanks to Jayde from reception who was exceptionally helpful and moved us to a room with a view. This was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately I had to remove one star because of the cost of the food at the restaurant which meant that eating dinner there was not possible for me and my daughter. They really should have a few things on the menu that are more affordable for the average traveller. I understand it’s probably a restaurant for special occasions but it would have been nice to eat dinner there one night as a guest of the hotel and just have something simple. The second star I had to remove as the car park is not made for any larger cars and as we have a Kluger we found it extremely hard to park. On each occasion it took us about half an hour from entering the car park to find a spot and try and squeeze our car in doing a 48 point turn. Then we were worried we were so close to other cars that we would get scratched. So we often ended up moving. It was a total disaster. Only at 930pm the night before check out did the receptionist mention there is a second car park for larger cars! This would have been much appreciated by us. I wish we had been told about this at checking as it would have really improved our stay.…

Birthday celebration, stayed overnight. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious with a window view over the beach. Room was clean and tidy, not huge, but with a balcony looking over Newcastle Beach and ocean baths. Great position for a walk around town, with lots of cafes and even an ice creamery across the road. Free parking included.

View is the best in Newcastle and the food is always top class. Dining room is beautifully decorated and staff go out of their way to make your experience memorable. There is ample parking undercover, as parking is limited at any beachside venue during summer months.

Stayed here recently and very happy with the room, amenities and close to the beach. Short walk to cafes and restaurants and light rail into town. Dined one night in their restaurant which was really good, great food and service. Large car park with good street access. Would certainly return and recommend.

If you are hungry after your travels find somewhere else to eat! I ordered seafood linguine and it was an entree size meal, with next to no linguine pasta! And the price was totally excessive at $48.00 (for an entree only meal) that left me hungry. I even asked if was a main meal or entree - just to confirm! Eat elsewhere!!! Not here.

Dining with friends with window seat. Great views till it got dark, but still a twinkle of lights. Decent menu both wine and food. Seafood chowder was delicious followed by fish which was cooked to perfection. Very friendly helpful staff & good ambience

The hotel is in a great location next to the water so had a great view. Beds are comfortable and room is spacious (as is the bathroom). There is a restaurant on site but I did not dine there. Just be careful that no major events are in. The V8 Supercars had just been on and it was difficult to get to the hotel due to roads being blocked off. Not the hotel’s fault of course.

We had a room facing streets. If we got could get one with sea view, I think we might be more happy. As usual in Australia, you have to bring your own personal tools, toothbrush, toothpaste, sleepers, etc. The hotel seemed and smelled bit old. The location is excellent, just next to the beach and walking distance around restaurants and convenient stores. One ironic thing, they still have the alarm clock iPhone 3 charger.
