Shopping, restaurants, the Western Plains Zoo and airport are all just a short distance away. Take a stroll along the banks of the Macquarie River just behind the Motel, or relax with a glass of wine from one of Dubbo's local wineries. The room looked recently renovated. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room was spacious for a family of 4. Pity that the chef didn’t work sundays, so no meals available. Whilst located on the highway, the rooms were quiet.

We have stayed at other properties in Dubbo but will come back again to the Aberdeen. The most friendly, helpful staff we have encountered. We needed to store some luggage and they went out of their way to help us. The room was modern, spotless, great shower, great bed and the location perfect. Opposite Maccas for an early departure was handy. We'll be back. By far and away the nicest place we have stayed in Dubbo.

Clean, presentable and modern. Three words to summarise my stay at the Aberdeen Motel, Dubbo. Unlike most motels, with standard brick walls, old bathrooms and basic furniture, the Aberdeen Motel is modern, spacious and comfy. The bathrooms were clean and modern, shower pressure was fantastic. The beds were comfy and warm. The couple who have just recently taken over are friendly and offer great recommendations and directions. The only downfall would be the noise of the traffic, as this motel is on a busy road. Although how fantastic everything is above that I’ve mentioned it’s definitely worth putting up with the noise. Location from the Main street with cafes, groceries and restaurants are less than a 600m walk away. An 8min drive or a 3.4km walk from the Zoo. Parking is out the front of the rooms, with ample space is get in and out of car parks. I would definitely stay here again!
