Plenty of space for guests to move about the house and grounds and to enjoy peace and quietness or to interact with other guests. Absolutely stunning bed and breakfast and great value for the quality of the rooms and breakfast. Definitely the best of the many b&b's we've stayed in when travelling around New Zealand. Highly recommended.

Quiet but centrally located in Dunedin
This review is from a trip to NZ in fall (spring in NZ) 2018. This B&B in a Victorian home is at the top of a hill where at least three or four streets intersect, and there is the driveway for the B&B. We had a superking room upstairs, which would have been cramped with all the luggage we had (4 checked bags, 2 carry ons, and two "small personal items"), however there was a small hallway to the bathroom with closet space to stow our suitcases, so we were very comfortable. There is tea and coffee in the room, which is decorated with antique furniture. The breakfast was very good. There are restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance, but all downhill from the B&B, which means uphill coming back. I enjoyed the sunporch. This is a quiet, peaceful place to stay in Dunedin.

Lovely!
Had a wonderful two night stay at the Argoed B&B. The accommodations in the restored home were inviting, cozy and comfortable (including a wonderful soaking tub). The gardens on the property were spectacular! Each morning, I enjoyed a delicious custom created breakfast. Owners Bruce and Wendy ensured my stay was satisfactory (it was!) and had helpful recommendations for dinners and sight seeing.

Beautiful house and charming hosts
This B&B is set in a lovely Victorian house not far from the centre of Dunedin. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully furnished (our party stayed in 2 of the 3 rooms) and we loved the little touches such as fresh and fragrant flowers on the washbasin. The breakfast was quite simply exceptional with an amazing range of choices. Above all, the hosts were wonderfully warm and charming and made us feel very welcome. We just wish that we had stayed longer than 1 night!
