I stayed here for work before the quake. What a difference. Up grade and updated. Everything looks new. Great tidy rooms. Service on all front great. Breakfast was good and selection was good. Hoping to have work rebook here for next month's conference....
Sometimes this place is great and sometimes it’s, well, just disappointing. This was my 4th or 5th stay here and to their credit they upgraded my room. I stayed on a Wednesday and Thursday night.

I am not aware of a free hotel shuttle but taxis are usually easy to catch and the distance is not too far. if there are five of you I would contact blue bubble taxis over the internet or ask the hotel to arrange one for you and ask for a taxi van. the cost will probably be less than a shuttle per person when you have 5 people. although i travel for business I wouldn't contemplate another option and wouldn't use either a shuttle or bus unless I couldn't get a taxi van. nz taxis are generally pretty honest and will be metered so no fare shenanigans.
