Great location with pleasant helpful staff. 10 minute walk to Cuba street for all those foody fans. They have a lift down to street level which is a major bonus if walking to and from town. The location and views were right up there. Make sure all the fan speed settings on

Stayed here for just under two weeks whilst in Wellington on business. Hotel has been renovated last year and both the rooms and the public areas still are in mint condition. Hotel is in a quiet area of town and the room general was quiet. My only minor gripe is just that some

Such a beautifully decorated and comfortable hotel. The staff are friendly and the location is perfect as you can walk to Cuba St and the city centre. I enjoyed my breakfast in the restaurant, Forage which has a great view over the city and to Mt Victoria.

Is it in a good tourist area
It's not very close to the inner city. Maybe a 10 - 15 minute walk downhill. There are some steep streets to walk up getting back to the hotel. In saying this, the hotel has quite good views.
