We recently stayed at Como The Treasury Perth on our way to our family holiday in Margaret River. From the moment we walked through the door, the service was excellent. We were traveling with our two young children and they were made to feel welcome with their own “check in” forms to sign and cool towels to refresh after our long flight. We had booked a Heritage room as we required additional space, sleeping our family of four. Two single beds were made up for the children free of additional charge and came with personalized gifts.
The room service was great, options good and food arrived promptly.
The room was impeccable... I could go on! Needless to say our stay was faultless and we are excitedly looking forward to visiting again on our return trip later this week.
10 out of 10!

Unique experience that perfectly blends the old and the new. The exterior, hallways, reception all capture the elegance and grace of the age of the building, but the rooms are modern, classy and extravagant.
The bars and restaurants contained downstairs mean you don’t need to go anywhere, albeit a touch expensive. Pool, gym and upstairs Wildflower restaurant are all worth a visit. Despite the building age, getting around with a wheelchair was easy enough and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We had to give this place 5 stars just on the back of how helpful and friendly the staff were, in particular how they assisted our friend in the wheelchair. Great job 👍🏻

This is a heritage facility joining three original State Buildings (Post Office, Treasury and Titles offices) that has been beautifully and thoughtfully turned into a five star facility. We booked in for our 25th anniversary and stayed two nights in a Heritage Balcony room - we were not disappointed in any way. A complimentary bottle of sparkling wine from Denmark was sitting in a bucket of ice waiting for us in the room, thanks to Jesse and the team. Our room had four double doors leading onto a balcony with a pleasant view of the Perth Library and Cathedral (note: close those electronic sheer blinds when you don't want onlookers!). We really enjoyed wandering around the building, which is stunning and the low lighting in the corridors certainly encourages quiet passage. All employees were friendly without being familiar and very comfortable in their roles - the obviously have a great hiring process. I would certainly love to return and highly recommend staying more than one night to make the most of what Como The Treasury offers.

This hotel does not need anything pretentious or fancy to announce itself, the building and its minimalist, muted decor spoke loudly enough - quite stunning.
I stayed in a city room which is more like a small apartment, everything was oversized felt very clean and spacious - I could stand under the rain-head shower all day.
The breakfast was nice and the coffee outstanding (important to me), staff were friendly and efficient and befitting a hotel of this standard.
Indulgent, stylish and highly recommended.

stayed 5 nights in the treasury room at the end of the floor , no neighbours thus it was very quiet at night. The building is a beauty and the location excellent as we
enjoyed walking around the city during day-and evening-times. For breakfast we would appreciate more tropical fruits ! instead melon and some berries….coffee was very good. Would be back in the future if we have another chance.

Having spent two weeks travelling in Australia, we finished our trip in Perth and have to say we saved the best until last. This hotel is situated in a beautiful building once used as a treasury. The room we were given was huge - beautifully decorated in muted tones with a lovely aspect overlooking the cathedral. we’d mentioned previously that we were celebrating a special wedding anniversary and were greeted by a complimentary bottle of champagne and
honey cake. Breakfasts were lovely with a good selection and huge portions. We ate in the hotel twice - Post & Long Chim which were both reasonable and very tasty. Overall the service was fantastic. You felt that the staff were always looking to go out of their way to give you the best possible experience. We wished we could’ve stayed longer!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel for two nights to celebrate his birthday. Rooms and the hotel in general are beautiful and we couldn’t fault the design or cleanliness of the space. However, I was a bit disappointed he didn’t receive any amenities for his birthday when the hotel was aware of it. We didn’t expect a bottle of champagne but a cupcake can’t hurt when you’re paying $700 a night.
The pool area was another spot lacking that five star feel. The fact you can’t even order a drink from there and that there’s only five sun lounges for the entire 38 rooms hotel makes it feel more like a posh gym pool rather than a high end hotel.
In room dining breakfast took an hour on the second day because our order went missing and they day we ordered lunch to our room (then again, forget about poolside lunch) I received a different dish than the one on the menu because nobody seemed to bother updating the in room dining menu.
This hotel is a pretty face but there’s not much substance to it.

Dear munirc2021, Thank your sharing your experience at COMO The Treasury with the TripAdvisor community. It is disappointing to read your boyfriend did not enjoy the Honey Cake and birthday card placed in your room upon arrival, as a small gesture to celebrate. The team and I are always available to organise special amenities in advance, should you wish to arrange. I will be addressing your helpful feedback with regards to in-room dining with my colleagues. We hope to welcome you back once more, in an opportunity to create a truly memorable experience for you and your boyfriend. The most stunning and exquisite hotel accommodation I have ever had the pleasure of staying in.

Welcomed by name with a glass of sparkling wine, our Heritage room with cathedral views was ready an hour before check in and we were delighted to be guided around by the hotels amenities by a staff member en route to the room.

Bags arrived promptly. We were blown away by the standard of the room decor and bathroom. The shower and bath were perfect, with instant hot water, excellent water pressure and beautifully aromatic toiletries and bath salts. Heated floor, towel rail and luxurious robes and towels all added to the 5 star feeling.

Complimentary mini bar was stocked with beers, ciders, water and snacks. Turn down service was a beautiful touch to come back into. We also were able to get a late check out which was gratefully welcomed.

We had breakfast in room the following morning and it arrived promptly within about 20 mins.

Cannot wait to come back here, definitely a higher budget treat but worth every cent!

A few tiny constructive comments that didn't affect our overall enjoyment of our stay but maybe worth considering

In room brealfast was mediocre and lukewarm when it arrived, coffee in a take away cup also lukewarm. ( plenty of cups etc available in the room for transfer)

TV on wall is pretty small for the size of the wall.

Phone wasnt working, I used my mobile to call to order breakfast after trying for 30 mins. We had no other use for phone so again, not a big deal to us at all.

Common cocktails not on menu at the bar corner and staff unwilling to make them, again plenty of others to choose from so no issue for us.

Poole's temple Jazz bar was closed, which we had planned to visit, we were made aware of this during our welcome walk around but nothing before hand so had to change plans, as we live in Perth it wasnt an issue for us but maybe for out of towner or real jazz fanthis may have been more of an issue.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and nothing was a problem to staff. I'm counting down the days until I can come back!

This hotel lived to my expectations and more. Situated in the heart of Perth city and close to everything. Had a fantastic 2 day stay and was astounded by the quality and the customer service. Christina at the front desk was very helpful and always smiling. The included breakfast at the Post was great too. The gym, with all the latest Technogym equipment was great and the pool refreshing. There’s lockers by the pool area so no need to worry. Towels, apples, water etc all provided.
The room was very spacious, Devine pillows and quality linen. The complimentary toiletries were excellent, love the smell of the shower gel product.
The room mini bar is complimentary and restocked daily and there’s also some chocolates, shortbread and cashew nuts in glass bottles ( gluten free). Free movies with the menu on the tv.
Rooms are turned down and restock of towels etc twice daily.
This hotel is quality, worth the price and has first class customer service. Another visit will definitely be due soon.

I Could not fault this Hotel.
Our 2 day stay was started with class and ran through to the very end with the same high quality. Our beautiful, big, light room with large windows overlooked the lattice rooftop of the Treasury and the church next door.
Our intention was to wonder around the city but with everything available in The Treasury block we stayed and enjoyed the restaurants, pool and a Spa treatment that was worth every cent.
Every level of staff did their job so well. We will return.

The showers are walk-in (but not the bath-tub). Best to check with the hotel as they might have a special room available. Otherwise: the lift is on the smaller side (but again: there might be a bigger lift available)
