Adina Apartment Hotel Perth sparks mixed feelings among its guests. While the central location is often lauded for its tranquility and easy access to attractions, parking can be problematic. The accommodations, boasting in-room kitchens and washers, earn praise for their practicality, yet some guests find the rooms and their amenities a tad outdated and worn.
Cleanliness receives commendable mentions, particularly for the rooms, though the inconsistency in housekeeping and bathroom upkeep has not gone unnoticed. The service experience varies, with commendations for the friendly staff contrasting with remarks about occasional unhelpful interactions.

Detailed Reviews
We visit Perth every year from UK with our disabled daughter, unfortunately the apartment hotel we stayed at during our stay in December 2024 was not suiting our needs. We visited the Adina Apartment Hotel and we were really impressed. The manager took time to show us 3 different apartments that might suit our needs, they were all really clean, well maintained and light and airy, all really good sizes. We have already booked for December 2025 and really looking forward to it.

Very comfortable, great staff and perfect location. This is the Adina next to the Convention Centre, on Mounts Bay Road (not Barrack Street). From the first floor, there’s a covered walk through to the bus station. There are five free loop buses that took us to the Mall, the main ferry terminal, King’s Park, etc. There’s a cosy bar/restaurant on the ground floor that was perfect for a quiet drink at the end of the day. We stayed a week but I could have stayed longer.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveler reviews.
We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the bus depot, train station and wharf areas. It's in a terrific location for these.
What was a major disappointment was that we had read their hotel website which clearly states that every apartment has a washing machine. We stayed there twice, both times for an extended period, so we definitely needed washing facilities
We booked a studio apartment - and there was no washing machine. Seems that, although it's called an apartment, it doesn't qualify. Because we were staying for an extended time, we had to pay extra to upgrade. This is very much false advertising.
The rooms were well equipped, except for the fact that they only supplied us with one face washer - for two people. Why??

No extra bed ready when we arrived, we booked for 3 adults and were told at reception that the bed and room was ready which it wasn’t.
Bathroom doors didn’t close properly and made bad noises when tried to close. All weight had to be used to open them and almost hurt ourselves each time we opened the doors.
The dryer was broken and had to be fixed while we were there.
The pillows were terrible, I woke up with neck pain every morning.
We had to ask for room to be made up with fresh linens when it clearly states of staying longer than 3 days it is their policy to change on the 3rd day. They did our rooms once but only when we had asked.
They charged us for every day we had our car there when the day we arrived was 3:30pm and we checked out before 9am.
Parking is expensive and there’s no street parking.
We had to ask for toilet paper and use the toilets on the ground floor because it took them so long to service the room, they were asked 3 times.
The pool was open but being renovated, we were not told it looked trashy when we booked or checked in.
The spa didn’t work the whole time we were there, when we asked they tried to tell us it does work, when I told them to come out and turn on the spa they admitted it was broken.
So we couldn’t use that while we were there either.
There were cockroaches out at the pool and spa every night.
The spa had tiles missing, chipped away and broken tiles at the bottom of the water that you had to stay away from so you didn’t cut yourself.
I would not stay at this hotel again, very bad experience.

Hi Family Holiday Stay, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We regret to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. It’s concerning to hear about the issues with the extra bed, bathroom doors, dryer, pillows, and room servicing, as well as the parking and pool/spa situation. I can certainly understand how frustrating that must have been. Please know that we take your comments seriously, and we will be looking into each of the points you’ve raised to ensure that these issues are addressed. Your comfort and satisfaction are incredibly important to us, and we fell short in meeting those standards during your stay. If you’d like to discuss any of these issues further, please feel free to reach out directly. We appreciate your feedback and hope we can provide a much better experience should you consider staying with us again. Team Adina Apartment Hotel Perth

My family and I stayed for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment in Adina Mounts Bay road. Location is great easy to get around the city and out of the city. Fridge didn’t have at least a water bottle only 4 small milk and some tea and coffee packets outside. They had cooking facilities so salt and pepper at least could have been nice so I didn’t have to buy my own bottles just to cook a piece of meat. Amenities were great towels were changed everyday. I also felt there should have been disposable toothbrush/paste pack and a couple of laundry detergent packs complementary. For $500 a night I expected a bit more so was disappointed I had to go out and buy basic necessities which I wouldn’t bother taking back home with me. Car packing was provided at $30 per night. Should be complementary for guests paying that much.

Dear Serah123_2019, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We are terribly sorry that your stay with us has not met your expectations. Our bottled water is part of the minibar items available on request as also are the salt and pepper shakers. Our team would have sent them right away, should they have been made aware of these requirements. With regards to parking, we have limited bays which are provided to guests at a reasonable price. If guests do require parking for better prices than us, our team would have been delighted in providing information for other options around the city. Your feedback has been acknowledged and shared with the relevant team managers. We hope to have another opportunity to be of your service in future. Kind Regards, Team Adina.

When booking one of their Premium Suites on the top floor, their best rooms, I did not expect to see stained old carpet, a stained old toilet and to have air conditioning that did not work. Fixtures and fittings were old, faded, uncomfortable and outdated. The bed was passable. The location was very good. A colleague stayed at the Hilton (approximately 2 min undercover walk away) for $20/night more and had breakfast included in his price and had wonderful facilities and service.
Hugely disappointed with what we had hoped would be a wonderful end to our holiday time in WA with a work conference in Perth.

Treated like a bad guest from the get go, was rudely greeted at check-in, told not to smoke in my room or I'd get a fine and not to throw any parties! Off to a good start!
Good points, Bed was comfy and room was dark and quiet, fridge was large and working, had a washer and dryer. There was a bottle of wine and a chocolate bar for me upon arrival.
Bad points, it is tired and needs a refurb, it was very expensive $3K for 6 nights. TV's were old and scratched, has warnings about being fined for setting off the smoke alarm, so another guest had wrapped the smoke alarm up! I only realized towards the end of my stay, so while I was there I had no functioning smoke detector! Staff were coming in each day and didn't notice either. There was a charge for washing powder? There was no bottle opener in the room, and when i requested one they said they'd bring one up, which they did not on the first occasion a couple of days later I thought I'd ask again and got lucky that time.

Dear David, We are terribly sorry to read about the experience you had while staying with us. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for bringing this to our attention as this is not the usual warm Adina greeting and experience that we pride ourselves with. We have shared your feedback with the team and housekeeping team regarding the sensor on the ceiling. It is unfortunate to read that we have not met the standard of Adina this time and your expectation as our guest. We however are glad to read you enjoyed the comfy bed and amenities provided upon arrival. There are certain aesthetic of the building that are harder to replace however with your assistance, we would be able to share the sentiment with our stakeholders for improvement. We do hope you would allow us the opportunity to be of your service again. Please do contact at perth@adinahotels.com.au, should you like to stay with us in the future. Thank you Warm Regards, Adina Perth Team Warm Regards, Adina Perth Team

First visit in a Perth, found location easy to navigate for local attractions, restaurants and bars.
Apartment had all the home comforts you need and great facilities, as travellers from UK we found the washer/dryer in the room a great benefit.
Would definitely stay here again.

The location couldn't be beaten for access to the city and working areas. The servicing of the apartment was hit and miss with the first week receiving daily visits but vacuuming becoming non-existent after then. Toilet roll appeared to be rationed as well while we never ran out it was a balancing act of frugality and luck.

Position of. the Adina was perfect for working at Conference centre across road. Nice and close to city centre (10 min walk) and buses all leave from Elizabeth Quay 2 mins walk away. Buses are free around th city, and it's easy to navigate. Room was well equipped and quiet, although block out curtains didn't fully block light. Bed is comfy but I asked for a firmer pillow as they were a bit soft for me.
