Stayed for one night with the family. Seven of us in total. The rooms were on level 2. All the rooms had been renovated and were very clean. The air conditioner controls were still old however the air conditioning worked very well.
Please be mindful of the sensor control light in the storage/hanging space - took us a little bit of time to figure out how to turn off haha. Otherwise we found the rooms to be great for what you pay for.
The Rubix restaurant and bar was a great little place to chill, have some drinks and watch the world go by on Murray street. The staff in the bar were amazing, great service and very friendly.
Breakfast was ok, had all the usual items you would have at a small buffet breakfast.
Overall the recent renovation has delivered a modern, clean and vibrant uplift to the hotel. The renovations have not finished so please be mindful that the works are continuing.
The hotel location is good, and within 5-10 minute walk to the Perth underground train station, the main shopping malls, RAC arena and Yagan square.
